On 12/14/2025 at approximately 0240 hours, while working the City Market area as part of the Violent Crimes Task Force and Strategic Investigations Unit, I was sitting in my car near W. Congress St. and Barnard St. when I noticed an Asian male wearing a light colored shirt and jeans stumbling south on Barnard St. The male could not walk in a straight line and was having a hard time balancing. I then observed him walk up to the front door of Le Banh Cafe (36 Barnard St.), unzip his fly, and make the motion of pulling out his p*nis. He then began to urinate.

It should be noted that although this occurred at 0240 hours, this was a very busy area known as the entertainment district and is usually filled with people until around 0400, as it was this evening. Another officer approached him and tried to get his attention verbally but to no avail. We tapped and pushed his shoulders, causing him lose his balance. He still did not respond to us. We finally gained his attention and were able to get him to stop urinating. He was then placed under arrest and identified him as Lason Arreola.

Arreola was charged with public indecency and public drunkenness. He was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center and transferred to their custody.
