On 3/11/26 while on uniformed patrol in The City of Savannah, I responded to the above address in reference to a check person call.

At approximately 0821 hours, Chatham County 911 dispatch received a text message to a 911 operator stating there was a male at the above address being held at gunpoint by his ex. The call notes were “COMP ADV THEY THINK THEIR FRIEND IS AT THE LOC BEING HELD AT GUNPOINT”.

I responded to the location and made contact with Mr. [WITNESS #1]. I separated him from the other party Ms. [REDACTED] and asked if he was being held against his will. [WITNESS #1] stated he was not and seemed confused as to why I was asking the question. I advised him we received a call he was being held a gunpoint. [WITNESS #1] stated he was not being held at gunpoint. I cleared the call and left the scene.

While responding to another call I heard another call being aired for the same location at 0908 hours. Upon reading the notes, I saw it was the same complainant was texting in from the same number stating [WITNESS #1] was being held against his will. The call notes stated “COMP IS ADV [WITNESS #1] IS BEING HELD AGAINST HIS WILL, ADV HIS PHONE IS PINGING AT LOC AND PANIC BUTTON KEEPS GOING OFF”. I advised dispatch I made contact with [WITNESS #1] and he was ok. Dispatch cleared the call.

I then called the complainant, Ms. Lisa Myers, and advised her over the phone [WITNESS #1] was ok. Myers then attempted to ask clarifying questing to verify he was at that location rather than that he was ok. Meyers stated she wanted police to tell [WITNESS #1] to call her. I advised her I would only inform her [WITNESS #1] did not appear to be in any danger and would not be assisting her with the delivery of messages. The call was concluded at that time.

At 1027 hours police received a third call regarding this address stating there was a possible physical altercation going on. Upon police arrival, they discovered Ms. Myers was at this location attempting to fight [REDACTED] who Myers claims [WITNESS #1] is cheating on her with. The details of this interaction are documented under Ofc. Feliciano’s supplemental report.

I advised the officers if they were able to confirm the person on scene was the person who was texting in the false reports to 911 this morning, they should place the suspect under arrest for false report of a crime. Officers confirmed the person on scene, Myers, was the person texting the false reports of a crime to 911. She was placed under arrest.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with Myers and read Miranda Warning’s to her. I then asked if she was willing to speak with me. Myers stated she was willing to speak with me. I asked Myers why she contacted 911 this morning, she stated she didn’t know. She then began to explain the details of her and [WITNESS #1]’s relationship troubles. She then stated “I’m not gonna lie, I did come over here to fight”, “I came over here to more than fight, I came over here to vandalize everything over here”.

I asked Myers why she stated [WITNESS #1] was being held at gunpoint and she stated “now that’s why I know I’m being locked up because that was misuse of 911. I said anything just to see if he was over here”. Then Myers recalled the phone conversation she and I had on the phone and she stated “what you mean he’s over here, I’m glad he’s ok but what you mean he’s over here.”.

Myers was placed under arrest for the following charges:

O.C.G.A. 16-11-39.2(b) Abuse of 911 – for contacting 911 to make a false report of a crime

O.C.G.A. 16-10-26 False Report of a Crime – for contacting 911 to have officers dispatched to the scene of a crime she had no evidence was being committed for motives other than the safety of that individual (to see if he was cheating on her).

O.C.G.A. 16-7-21(b)(1) Criminal Trespass – for entering the property of [200 BLOCK] S Avalon Dr for an unlawful purpose (fight and vandalize) per her statements if “I did come over here to fight” and “I came over here to more than fight, I came over here to vandalize everything over here”.

CASE BOUND UP TO STATE COURT — PRE-TRIAL DIVERSION PROGRAM REFERRAL

What this means: Also on April 21, 2026, Lisa Teresa Myers’s case was transferred — referred to as being “bound up” — from Chatham County Recorder’s Court to Chatham County State Court. At the same time, the case was referred to a Pre-Trial Diversion Program. Pre-Trial Diversion is an alternative to traditional prosecution where a defendant may complete certain requirements (such as community service, counseling, or other conditions) in exchange for the charges being dismissed upon successful completion. If Myers meets all program requirements, the charges against her could be resolved without a conviction. The next steps will depend on the terms set by the State Court and the diversion program.
