On 10/09/2025 at 0348 hours, I, Officer Solorzano, responded to a fight at 222 Drayton St (Fancy Parker’s). I was in full uniform, in a marked police vehicle, and was operating as 25 CHARLIE 1. Upon arrival, I assisted Officer Vincent, who was already on scene gathering information. I proceeded to speak with the victim, Mr. [VICTIM #1].

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that nothing had occurred and claimed he had just fallen. He continued to insist that nothing had happened and that it was not a big deal. While I was speaking with Mr. [VICTIM #1], Officer Vincent informed me that based on video footage, Mr. [VICTIM #1] had actually been struck by a vehicle. Mr. [VICTIM #1] had multiple lacerations to his body, and Chatham EMS responded to the scene to provide medical treatment.

Cpl. Abassi was notified and responded to the scene. I then proceeded inside Fancy Parker’s to speak with staff members.

Ms. [WITNESS #1], an employee, was able to provide video footage of the incident and showed me the recording. In the video, Mr. [VICTIM #1] and another Black male are seen in a verbal argument, which escalates into a physical altercation. The suspect is then seen attempting to pull Mr. [VICTIM #1] out of a vehicle. The video shows the two men engage in another physical altercation and both fall to the ground. Mr. [VICTIM #1] is then seen trying to get back into the vehicle but is unsuccessful.

The suspect is then seen entering the driver’s seat of the vehicle, pointing the vehicle toward Mr. [VICTIM #1], and accelerating. The vehicle collides with a parked vehicle, pinning Mr. [VICTIM #1]. The suspect then accelerates again, while Mr. [VICTIM #1] remains pinned, and flees the scene.

I provided Ms. [WITNESS #1] with an AXON link to upload the video footage. A partial tag was initially obtained, but Officer Vincent was able to get the full Georgia tag number: [REDACTED]. The vehicle matched the one in the video, and the registered owner matched the description of the male suspect. The suspect was identified as Mr. Michael Hamilton.

A short time later, Officer Vincent located the vehicle at Motel 6, 201 Stephenson Ave, and detained Mr. Hamilton. Officer Vincent advised the vehicle had front-end damage and that Mr. Hamilton provided an explanation of the events that transpired.
