On Feb 4, 2026 at approximately 10:32 hours I, Officer Simons (63875) arrived on scene at [400 BLOCK] W Montgomery Cross Rd #[REDACTED] in reference to a Domestic Dispute.

Upon my arrival I made contact with the suspect, Nokoa Davis who had walked outside and rentered his unit upon seeing police. We knocked and he complied with commands to step outside. When asked what occurred between him and his girlfriend, [VICTIM #1] this morning he advised they had a verbal arguement about [VICTIM #1] staying out all night then she left. He advised nothing physical took place.

I then spoke to [VICTIM #1] who advised she was out last night and when she came home Davis began to fuss with her. She said she began to try and gather her baby’s [JUVENILE #1] belongings to leave and that is when Davis tried to aggressively grab [JUVENILE #1] from her arms. When she refused to let go she described him as grabbing her by the neck, shaking and squeezing her neck with both hands on a scale 1-10, an 8 in pressure until she had trouble breathing.

I observed scratch marks and reddening around the front of her neck. She advised she had some pain on the outside of her neck where the chain she was wearing was pressed hard against her neck. She stated he has “choked” her before but it was only one time today. She said he stated he would hit her while he had his hands around her neck and procoeeded to let go with one hand and slapped her in the head (open-hand). She advised she had not changed clothes nor did she feel light headed, vomitted, unrinated nor deficated on herself.

[VICTIM #1] advised me she was on the phone with a friend during the incident, who recorded the phone call. I listened to the audio recording and heard a dispute taking place and heard [VICTIM #1] say “don’t do that, he’s a baby.” and her screaming “get off of me.” I sent [VICTIM #1] an Axon Capture link and explained how to upload the file.

I provided a CRN card.

On duty supervisor and detective notified and arrived on scene.

Nokoa Davis was arrested and placed in double-locked handcuffs. He was charged with Agg Assault DVA/Battery DVA/Cruelty to Children 3rd and transported to CCDC without incident.
