On January 17th at 0920 dispatch advised that there was an unwanted male at the McDonalds located at 2701 Montgomery Street. I, Officer McGinnis #66837, responded to the McDonalds and found a boisterous and icoherent male screaming inside the business.
Upon arrival I could hear a male screaming from inside the store and witnessed a male throwing his hands erratically and pointing at people. I entered the McDonalds and commanded the male, later identified by Cpl. Smith as Paul Weaver, to exit the McDonalds. Mr. Weaver refused to comply and continued his verbal tyrade. Mr. Weaver was escorted outside by Officer Cherubin and I, and detained to be indentified for Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Weaver never answered any questions, or ceased his incessant loud and boisterous behavior. Cpl. Smith arrived and identified Mr. Weaver through her several past interactions with him.
I then spoke with [WITNESS #1] who was in the parking lot and stated that Mr. Weaver had been blocking people from entering the store and accosting them as they left. Mrs. [WITNESS #1] stated that she was subjected to Mr. Weaver’s loud and erratic outbursts, but he moved when she displayed a stun gun.
I spoke with the manager, Mrs. [WITNESS #2], who stated that Mr. Weaver was asked several times to leave and refused. She advised that she wanted Mr. Weaver banned from the premises. Mrs. [WITNESS #2] was provided a copy of a ban form, banning Mr. Weaver from McDonalds indefinitely.
Mr. Weaver was searched and placed in the patrol car, without incident. Mr. Weaver was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center (CCDC) and booked at 0950 for Criminal Tresspass and Disorderly Conduct (OCGA 16-7-21 and OCGA 16-11-39) without further development.
