On January 2, 2026, at approximately 2215 myself and Cpl Nelson responded to criminal damage to property in the 2nd degree (OCGA 16-7-23) at [500 BLOCK] Quarterman Dr, Savannah, Ga 31410.
Upon arrival to the residence, I noticed a female (Ms. Sarah Lewis) standing in the driveway to the house waving her hands in the air as if to get our attention. As we exited our patrol car to make contact with her she walked into the middle of the street yelling and giving us the middle finger, Cpl Nelson instructed Ms. Lewis that she needed to stop yelling and tell us what was going on, she then proceeded to scream at the top of her lungs while trying to walk away.
Cpl Nelson then moved her hands behind her back, and I put her in handcuffs and double locked them. We then escorted her to our patrol car where she was searched by Ofc. Johnston and placed in the back seat, I then notified dispatch to send EMS because she had cuts and was bleeding from her hands.
Cpl Nelson and I then made contact with the homeowner (Mr. [VICTIM #1]) where he informed us that she became angry and began to shout and cuss in his face before she left the house through the front door which he closed and locked. She then proceeded to the rear of the residence where she broke the window in the rear bathroom as well as both windows in the dining room area of the house. He also informed us that she beat on the rear sliding glass door and front doors of the house, I observed no damage to either door except a bloody mark on the front door near the door handle of the front door and the door handle of the glass storm door attached to the front doorway.
Prior to starting our transport she began to kick the cage of our patrol car and continued to be disorderly by yelling and screaming at us. She had saliva on her face and chin.
We then took Ms. Lewis to Memorial Health University Medical Center. She continued to be disorderly so Cpl Nelson decided to put a spit hood on her and leg restraints. She was cleared by the medical staff before we took her to CCDC for booking.
[End of Narrative]
