On January 3, 2026 at or around 2150 hours I, Officer Johnson, responded to the intersection of W. Congress St and Whitaker St. to investigate the report of Lewdness.

Upon my arrival to the above-mentioned location, CRT units were on scene and had located the male later identified as Steven Smith. Officer Franz spoke with the complainant, [WITNESS #1], who said, Smith was in front of his store, Smoke and Vape Market located at 111 W. Congress St. when he had pulled his dark gray sweatpants down to his ankles and began to dance. The store owner stated numerous people witnessed the incident and he had his customers leave the store.

[WITNESS #1] was able to provide a video of the Smith during the act of lewdness. The video was uploaded to Evidence.com.

Smith was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure (O.C.G.A. 16-6-8.) He was transported to CCDC without incident.
