On October 5, 2025, at approximately 1047 hours, I was dispatched to [1200 BLOCK] Homer City Way for reports of a domestic disturbance involving a knife.

On arrival, I made contact with the girlfriend and daughter of the victim (later identified as [WITNESS #1] and [WITNESS #2]). Both Ms. [WITNESS #1] and Ms. [WITNESS #2] stated that the brother of Ms. [WITNESS #2], later identified as (Travis Walker Jr), had pulled a knife on their father (later identified as [VICTIM #1]) and threatened him.

I spoke with Mr. [VICTIM #1] (victim), who stated he and his partner had returned home at approximately 1045 hours. He stated he noticed his son, Mr. Walker Jr., standing in the screened-in porch area of the home. He stated Mr. Walker Jr. is no longer allowed at the home due to previous incidents and told Mr. Walker Jr. to leave. Mr. [VICTIM #1] advised his daughter, Ms. [WITNESS #2], was at the front door witnessing the altercation.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that while Ms. [WITNESS #2] was walking out the front door and out of the screened-in porch area, he and his son exchanged more words. He stated that during this exchange, Mr. Walker Jr. pulled a pocket knife from his pocket, opened it, then made stabbing motions towards him while threatening that he would stab him.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated after his daughter exited the porch and entered the vehicle, Mr. Walker Jr. approached the vehicle and said “I’ll stab your daddy”. Mr. [VICTIM #1] also said when his son exited the porch, he made slicing motions against the door frame to the porch. I provided Mr. [VICTIM #1] a CRN and advised him to contact us for any questions or if he obtained any more information regarding his son.

A short time later, while patrolling the neighborhoods close to the residence, I observed a black male walking who matched the clothing description given in the dispatch call notes. Other Officers arrived on the scene a short time later and detained Mr. Walker Jr. by placing him in handcuffs which were double-locked and checked for fit, Mr. Walker Jr. was found to be in possession of two pocket knives at this time.

Mr. Walker Jr. stated that his dad had attacked him and he was defending himself from his dad, that is why he pulled the knife. Mr. Walker Jr. stated he was angry at the fact that his father kicks him out after asking him to return home, and that he wanted his rent money back. Mr. Walker Jr. denied pulling a knife on his father. I informed Mr. Walker Jr. due to all three parties witnessing the incident and having the same story I would be placing him under arrest for aggravated assault.

Mr. Walker Jr. was escorted to my vehicle and seat belted in the rear seat. Mr. Walker Jr. was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center, where on arrival and being checked by medical staff, he stated he received a hit to the top of his head which prompted his process rejection until he could be cleared by health professionals. Mr. Walker Jr. was again escorted to the rear seat of my patrol vehicle and seat belted in. Mr. Walker Jr. was transported to Memorial Medical Center where he was cleared for transport.

Mr. Walker was transported again to Chatham County Detention Center where he was transfered to on-duty jail staff without incident. Mr. Walker Jr. was charged with O.C.G.A. 16-5-21 (A) Assault (Aggravated) and given a bond of $4500.00. Mr. Walker Jr. was given a court date of January 8th, 2026 at 1000 hours at the Pooler Municipal Courthouse. Mr. Walker Jr. signed his DVA court appearance and Pooler Court first appearance waiver. Mr. Walker Jr. was made aware of its conditions and he advised that he understood.

I later returned to the [1200 BLOCK] Homer City Way and served the subpoenas for Mr. [VICTIM #1], Ms. [WITNESS #2], and Ms. [WITNESS #1] with the court date of January 8th, 2026 at Pooler Municipal Courthouse.
