On Monday the 16th day of March, 2026 around 1225 hrs. I responded to Vernon Street and Gragg Street, Thunderbolt, Georgia, County of Chatham for a Hit & Run accident.

Upon arrival I spoke with driver [VICTIM #1]. He stated he had parked his work truck and was out of it, when an “Amazon” delivery van pulled up and parked just in front of him on the grass.

The driver exited the Amazon van and made a delivery. But when the Amazon van attempted to leave it side swiped the front right corner of the “Elite Technician Management Group” work truck that was parked, It caused damage to the right front and damage to the lower passenger side of the “Amazon” van leaving paint transfer on both vehicles.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] was able to get the tag number, Georgia tag #[REDACTED] and take a picture of the damage to both vehicles. The black male driver, later identified as Twan Sherick Bowers asked Mr. [VICTIM #1] if he was okay and what he needed. Mr. [VICTIM #1] told Mr. Bowers he was calling his “Supervisor” about his work truck being struck.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that Mr. Bowers said “Oh shoot” and backed up turning around and stopped on Gragg Street and made another delivery and then left the scene of the accident.

After checking the area of Thunderbolt, Georgia, I finally located the “Amazon” van that was involved in the accident. The driver Twan Sherick Bowers was placed under arrest for “Hit & Run”. Mr. Bowers did not understand what he had done wrong to be arrested. I advised him he shouldn’t have left the accident scene. He stated he had deliveries he had to make, because he was on a timer, so many deliveries have to be made during a time limit or they call you.

Mr. Twan Sherick Bowers was cited for Hit & Run O.C.G.A. (16-6-270.1) and was transported to the Chatham County Detention Center. He was turned over to the Jail without incident. The “Amazon Van” was turned over to another Amazon driver by the name of [REDACTED].
