On May 16th 2026 at 0052 hours I, Deputy Matt Wilson was dispatched to [100 BLOCK] Dickeyville Rd in reference to a physical domestic in progress. I advised E911 to see if a Trion officer could assist me on that call. Trion unit arrived on scene and then shortly advised that he had one in custody. The Trion officer was Officer Brock Campbell. Upon arrival, I made contact with Deputy Adam Dawson, Officer Brock Campbell, and a male that was later identified as [VICTIM #1]. The male in custody was later identified to me as Chase Ray Jones.

I went inside the residence to speak with victims and witnesses. One victim was a juvenile identified as [VICTIM #2] who stated he was 15 years old. I asked [VICTIM #2] to tell me what happened. [VICTIM #2] stated that his brother Chase Jones was drunk and that he did start fighting his step dad [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #2] stated Chase did physically hit [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #2] stated that Chase also hit him and grabbed him up. [VICTIM #2] stated he was trying to get Chase to stop and got in between him and [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #2] stated that’s when he got physical with him. I did observe lacerations on his right thumb, and observed his left knee to be cut and skit up. He stated he got between Chase also when he physically struck his sister [VICTIM #3] as well. I ended the conversation.

I spoke with a female identified as [VICTIM #3]. I asked [VICTIM #3] to tell me what happened. She stated her brother Chase was irate because he lost his phone and got into a argument with her step dad [VICTIM #1]. She stated that Chase and [VICTIM #1] had been drinking. She stated she was in the bed trying to sleep when she heard them arguing and then observed him began fighting. She stated she observed Chase physically hit [VICTIM #1]. She stated she attempted to get Chase to stop but he refused and physically struck her in the back area. She stated that Chase then began to throw her items all in the floor. She stated he threw cat food, lotion bottles, her clothes, and etc items in her room and in the kitchen. I did observe all these items scattered through her room and the kitchen. I ended the conversation.

I spoke with a female identified as [WITNESS #1]. I asked [WITNESS #1] to tell me what happened. She stated the same thing as [VICTIM #3] stated. She was in the same room as [VICTIM #3] when the fight started between Chase and [VICTIM #1]. [WITNESS #1] stated she did observe Chase hit [VICTIM #1], [VICTIM #3], and [VICTIM #2]. [WITNESS #1] did state he did not touch her but he was throwing items. I ended the conversation.

Deputies attempted to get a story from [VICTIM #1] but he kept stating he did not want to talk about it or say to much. We ended the conversation.

Deputy Dawson transported Chase to the Chattooga County Jail. All other units went back into service without any further incidents.

This incident becomes a family violence matter since all all subjects live at the same residence.

Mother of all the children [REDACTED] showed up on the scene after the arrest was made and the situation was over.
