On June 28, 2026, at approximately 1911 hours, I, Deputy Matt Wilson, was dispatched to [300 BLOCK] Knollwood Circle in reference to a female experiencing a possible mental health crisis who had reportedly kicked the complainant’s front door in an attempt to force entry.

I advised E911 to see if Summerville Police Department units could assist with the call. E911 advised that Summerville units would be en route. E911 further advised the female was identified as Christina Jade Starkey and that she was leaving the area on foot wearing a gray hoodie and sweatpants while walking toward Catawba Drive.

E911 advised the complainant stated that Jade had been stripping naked and became very irate after being told to put her clothes back on. E911 also advised that the complainant reported Jade had kicked her vehicle and made threats to kill law enforcement officers, the complainant, and herself.

E911 advised that Summerville Police Officer Brock Campbell arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant before searching for Jade. Officers Jacob Pledger and Brandon Lindsey also arrived in the area to assist. Officer Pledger remained with the complainant while I searched the area for Jade.

Officer Campbell later advised over the radio that he had located Jade on Catawba Drive and that she attempted to flee on foot. A short time later, Officer Campbell advised that Jade had been detained. I arrived on scene and observed Officers Campbell and Lindsey escorting Jade from a wooded area back to the roadway toward their patrol vehicles.

Officers Campbell and Lindsey advised that Jade obstructed them by fleeing on foot and continued to run after being given lawful commands to stop. Officer Lindsey advised he had to draw his Taser and hold Jade at Taser point before she complied with lawful commands. Summerville Police transported Jade to the Chattooga County Jail on my behalf.

I then spoke with the complainant, who was identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated she was washing her vehicle at her residence, located at [300 BLOCK] Knollwood Circle, while wearing a bathing suit. She stated her sister, Jade, was also outside and began removing her clothing in the yard before again exposing her breasts while standing on the front porch.

[VICTIM #1] stated she told Jade that she could not do that and instructed her to put her clothes back on. She stated they then went inside the residence, where she told Jade that her behavior was inappropriate because children lived in the area and that she did not want law enforcement to become involved. [VICTIM #1] stated Jade became increasingly irate after she mentioned the police. She stated Jade began yelling and threatened to kill her by stating, “I’ll kill you.”

[VICTIM #1] stated she then exited the residence, followed by Jade. [VICTIM #1] locked the front door before leaving through the back door, getting into her vehicle, and driving away while Jade remained on the front porch.

[VICTIM #1] stated her residence is equipped with interior and exterior video surveillance. While away from the residence, she viewed the cameras and observed Jade repeatedly kicking the front door in an apparent attempt to gain entry. [VICTIM #1] stated she later returned and stopped her vehicle in the roadway near the residence. She stated Jade approached her vehicle, kicked the front passenger-side door, and continued yelling while acting in an irate manner. [VICTIM #1] advised the entire incident was captured on her surveillance system.

I reviewed the surveillance footage provided by [VICTIM #1]. The video showed Jade exposing her breasts on the front porch, becoming irate inside the residence, and threatening [VICTIM #1] by stating, “I’ll kill you.” I also observed Jade repeatedly kicking the front door before walking to [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle and kicking the front passenger-side door.

I observed a dusty shoe print on the front passenger-side door consistent with the video footage. I also observed a small dent in the door where Jade had kicked it.

[VICTIM #1] appeared terrified throughout the investigation. She stated she had recently picked Jade up from prison and believed bringing her back home would help her get back on track.

[VICTIM #1] provided me with two surveillance videos documenting the incident, which were collected as evidence.

I returned to service without further incident.
