On above date and time I, Deputy A. Garmany #14 was dispatched to above location reference to a third party call of a possible heated verbal domestic at the location.

When I arrived on scene with Cpl. J.Wilks #04 and Deputy J. Claxton #12 I observed a African American female and African American male at their individual vehicles that was parked in the driveway.

I walked over to the Victim later identified as [VICTIM #1] who stated that her and the father of her children were arguing and that he was just getting his stuff and leaving the residence. While speaking with the Victim I noticed the left side of her face to be really swollen to the point her left eye was closing up and also noticed that her lips were swollen and hemorrhaging.

I asked the victim if the suspect later identified as Israel Dammond do that to her face and she became very emotional and stated yes that the two of them had gotten into a heated verbal argument last night and stated that he hit her in the face.

The suspect was sitting on the step of the porch to the side entrance of the residence with Deputy Claxton #12 standing next to him. I advised Deputy Claxton to go ahead and place the suspect under arrest for Simple Battery FVA and Disorderly Conduct due disturbing the peace of the general public with his loud manner and profanity word loud enough for the small juveniles in the neighborhood to hear. I advised Deputy Claxton to go ahead and transport the suspect to the Chattooga County Jail.

I advised and provided a Domestic Violence pamphlet and advised her of the resources that is available to her.
