On 8/11/2025 at 2003, I responded to a call of a domestic problem at [80 BLOCK] Smith St. When I arrived, I could hear a verbal taking place inside the home. After knocking, I was met by Offender (Christopher Coleman), who invited me in upon entering the residence. I could smell the strong odor of marijuana coming from inside the residence. After speaking with the offender, he stated that the victim came home and began arguing over her smoking too much marijuana. The argument became physical as the victim (Kimberly Mcquire) tried to stab him with a fork, and there were visible marks under his right eye.
I spoke with the victim who had visible red marks on her neck and face. Also, the victim had open wounds on both hands and black/ purple marks on her arms consistent with older bruising. The victim stated that the offender became violent with her after claiming she had been cheating on him, as he went through her phone and saw messages from another man. The victim stated that during the argument, the offender grabbed her by the neck with one hand and began to strangle her. During the altercation, she attempted to fight him off, and he bit her fingers. The victim was able to get away from him and ran to the front door, which was open at the time, and yelled to the neighbors for help, but could not go out the door cause the offender was standing in front of her.
During the investigation, marijuana, less than 1oz, was found inside the home.
Christopher Coleman is beginning charged with Aggravated Assault FVA and possession of marijuana less than 1oz.
Kimberly Mcquire is beginning to be charged with possession of marijuana less than 1oz
