On date and time listed above I, Deputy J. Claxton was dispatched to a verbal domestic in progress located at [1000 BLOCK] Airport Road. When I arrived on scene I was observed a White Female sitting on the edge of the pavement. I Identfied her as Kristen Thomas, I asked her what was going on she stated that her Ex had stole her book bag and had would not give it back. She then became irate when she observed her ex walking torwards us. I advised her to stay where she was and I would go speak to him.

I made contact with the male, Later identfied as [WITNESS #1]. He stated that he got the bag from her becaues he took their duaghter to school. When he open the bag up he located some drug parahphia. He then try to show me, but my attention was thrown off. I then Observed and heard Mrs. Thomas screaming and using foul languae and I advised her to stop. She carried on so I walked torwards her where I made contact with a male. He advised me that Mrs. Thomas was his duaghter and that she needed to stop causing all this drama. Mrs. Thomas started yelling and cussing again. At this time, Deputy Garmany arrived on scene and I advised him to take her into custdoy for Disordley Conduct.

I then read Mrs. Thoams her rights and she advised me that she understood and she gave a verbal yes to speak to me. I then asked her if i could search the bag and she stated no at first but stated that if she could watch me then I could. I asked her again to clairfiy and she stated yes. I located a clear plastic starw that had crystal like substance inside. During the course of my investgation I noted that both parties are in a intense custdoy battle over the child.

I did not charge the drug related object becaues I could not say that was in fact Mrs. Thomas, I did explain to her that she would be going to jail for Disordley Conduct becaues she cause a distrubance that was in ear of her nighbor’s.

Deputy Garmany transport her to the Chattooga County Jail without further inncident.
