[NARRATIVE #1 on August 10, 2025]
On Sunday, August 10th, 2025, Jonathan Taylor called E911 to report a theft that occurred at his apartment. I called Jonathan and spoke to him over the phone about the incident.
Jonathan explained that he lives at the Cherokee Summit Apartments located at [100 BLOCK] Sandy Ln, Apt [REDACTED]. On Thursday, August 8th, 2025, the apartment management had hired an unknown company to conduct maintenance inside the apartments. While Jonathan was at work, the maintenance company conducted work inside his apartment. The very next day (Friday morning), Johnathan noticed that four of his watches and one diamond ring had been stolen. The watches and ring were located inside his closet. He also noticed that someone had rearranged his shoes, which were also inside his closet. Jonathan described the watches and ring as follows:
- Custom made all black G-Shock watch worth $600
- Michael Kors all-gold watch worth $300
- Michael Kors rose gold watch worth $400
- Michael Kors gold face with a black strap worth $500
- 14k white gold diamond ring worth $3000
At the time of this report, the Cherokee Summit Apartments management office was closed.

[NARRATIVE #3 on October 06, 2025]
On 6 October 2025, Deputy Ohar, Captain Amason, and myself went to [100 BLOCK] Sandy Lane Apartment [REDACTED] in an attempt to locate Jonathan Taylor. Jonathan had a valid arrest warrant (CE0142651) through Cherokee County for Insurance Fraud and False Report of a Crime. We went to the home with a copy of the warrant in hand.
I knocked the the door of the apartment and Jonathan came outside. He matched the picture I had in my possession. Jonathan confirmed he was the person on the warrant. I informed Jonathan he was under arrest for the warrant. Jonathan peacefully submitted himself to arrest. He stated his two juveniles were inside and requested to contact his ex-wife to come get them. He called her and she said she would be there shortly. We escorted Jonathan inside and he gathered shoes and a shirt.
His ex-wife [REDACTED] arrived at the location in short order and confirmed the juveniles were her children. She took custody of them. Jonathan was handcuffed with his hands in front of his person. The restraints were checked for proper fit and the secondary lock were activated. He was searched incident to arrest. I had Jonathan sit in the back of my patrol car.
I confirmed with GCIC services they had Jonathan’s warrant in hand. It was confirmed valid. I transported Jonathan to the Cherokee Adult Detention Center (ADC) without incident. We arrived at the ADC and custody of Jonathan was turned over to the intake officer. I obtained the original warrant from GCIC services and executed the document. Jonathan was booked into the ADC for the charges on the warrant.
