On 10/20/25 at approximately 2146 hours I responded to a Business Dispute at 5574 Bells Ferry Rd. When I arrived on scene I spoke to two employee’s, [VICTIM #1] and [WITNESS #1].

[VICTIM #1] stated the following: While working a black male came into the little caesars. The male was there to pick up an order of a 3 meat pizza and two cheese pizza’s. When [VICTIM #1] gave the male the total he became angry and started yelling and cussing at [VICTIM #1]. The male stated he was being over charged for the pizza’s and threatened [VICTIM #1] stating “I’m going to beat your a*s”, and asked [VICTIM #1] to step outside. While the male was yelling [WITNESS #1] came to the front and told the male she was going to call the cops. There was a black female with the male trying to calm him down.

[WITNESS #1] stated the following: [WITNESS #1] heard the male yelling from the back of the store. When [WITNESS #1] came to the front she old the male yelling she was going to call police. The male told her not to call police before leaving the little caesars. There was a black female with the male trying to calm him down and at one point told him to go outside. [WITNESS #1] said she never heard the male threaten [VICTIM #1].

[VICTIM #1] was on the phone with his mother, [REDACTED], who is also the store manager. [REDACTED] wanted to press charges and have the male criminally trespassed. [REDACTED] sent [WITNESS #1] camera footage from inside the store and I was also provided a receipt for the order. The camera footage showed a black male, wearing a black shirt and red shorts. The male was visibly angry and could be seen yelling at [VICTIM #1]. The female was wearing a blue shirt and could be seen talking to the male and motioning for him to go outside. The receipt had the name [WITNESS #2] as the card holder.

Using peregrine I searched the name [WITNESS #2]. I found a person who lived in Cherokee County and I looked the person up in GCIC. The drivers license photo was a match to the female from the video. [WITNESS #2] lived at [4800 BLOCK] Hwy 92 Bldg [REDACTED] Apt [REDACTED]. Deputy Glass and I went to the apartments and met with [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #2] confirmed she and her nephew, Tyler Carpenter, had been at the little caesars.

[WITNESS #2] stated the following: [WITNESS #2] had given Tyler her debit card to go pay for the pizza. While inside Tyler believed they had been over charged. Tyler went back outside and told [WITNESS #2] before going back inside. When [WITNESS #2] entered the little caesars Tyler was arguing with the employee. [WITNESS #2] had Tyler leave and wait outside. [WITNESS #2] was provided a refund when she asked for one. Both [WITNESS #2] and Tyler left after. [WITNESS #2] stated she never heard Tyler threaten anyone.

Tyler stated the following: [WITNESS #2] asked Tyler to go inside the little ceasars and pay for the pizza, and gave him her debit card. While inside Tyler told the employee he was being over charged for the pizza. The employee told Tyler that the price was correct. Tyler left and told [WITNESS #2] they were being over charged and went back inside. Tyler continued to argue with the employee. Tyler said while arguing with the employee he began smiling at him which made him angry. Tyler said he never heard [WITNESS #1] say she was going to call police. Tyler said he never made any threats but was yelling at [VICTIM #1].

Due to conflicting statements I did not establish probable cause to terroristic threats. Based on witness statements, the video provided, and admissions from Tyler I did establish probable cause to disorderly conduct. I informed Tyler of the criminal trespass, which he said he understood. I placed Tyler under arrest and placed him in handcuffs, which were checked for proper fit and double locked. Tyler was placed in the back seat of my patrol car, which had been searched prior and I found no contraband.

I transported Tyler to the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center, where jail staff took custody of him without issue. Warrants will be taken in a timely manner.
