On Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at approximately 1006 hours, I, Officer M. Mistretta, was dispatched to the Texaco gas station at Cobb Parkway/Jim Owens, in reference to domestic dispute and person hit by auto that stemmed from the Cobblestone Landing Apartments. Dispatch advised that Kennesaw PD was out with the subjects at the gas station.
Upon arrival, I met with Officer Dotson #1143, with Kennesaw PD. Officer Dotson stated he was flagged down by Freddy Coney at the gas station. I began to speak with Mr. Coney who stated that his wife, Alexis Pressley, hit him with her vehicle. Mr. Coney stated that him and Mrs. Pressley were in a verbal argument earlier this morning, and other police officers gave him a ride from the BioLife Plasma Services from Barrett Parkway. Mrs. Pressley drove her black 2007 Saturn Vue bearing GA Tag:[REDACTED] home from the BioLife Plasma center.
Mr. Coney stated that he was outside on the sidewalk near the steps to the apartment when Mrs. Pressley pulled up. Mr. Coney stated he walked to her vehicle and was asking for his backpack out of the vehicle. Mr. Coney state that Mrs. Pressley was refusing to give him his belongings and put the vehicle in reverse. Mr. Coney stated that Mrs. Pressley then put the vehicle in drive and hit the gas and drove towards him. Mr. Coney stated that he jumped on the hood of her vehicle instead of standing there and taking the hit from the vehicle.
Mr. Coney then stated that he was holding onto the windshield wipers at this time and Mrs. Pressley began to continue driving through the complex and onto Cobb Parkway NB. Mr. Coney did sustain a small laceration on the palm of his hand. I was unable to get a picture due to Cobb Fire being quick to wrap his wound. Mr. Coney did decline to be transported to the hospital. Mr. Coney was able to get off the vehicle in front of Tractor Supply and then flagged down officers.
I then went and spoke with Mrs. Alexis Pressley, who was inside the vehicle with her 3-year-old and 4-year-old. Mrs. Pressley stated that she was on the phone with Mr. Coney when she was pulling into the apartment complex, coming back from the plasma center, and that they were still arguing, as Mr. Coney was accusing her of cheating on him. Mrs. Pressley stated when she pulled in front of her building, she saw Mr. Coney’s orange cup on the stairs and decided to leave.
Mrs. Pressley stated she did not know that Mr. Coney came back to the house and claims he does not live there. Mrs. Pressley also will not give Mr. Coney a key, even though he lives there. Mrs. Pressley states that Mr. Coney comes and goes, but that they are legally married as of last month and share one child together. Due to the dispute at the plasma center, Mrs. Pressley decided to back up her vehicle and turn around to leave the complex. Mrs. Pressley claims she did not see Mr. Coney until he was jumping on the hood of the car and telling her that she wasn’t going to leave him there.
Mrs. Pressley did state that she continued onto Cobb Parkway and tried to pull over. Mr. Coney did cause damage to Mrs. Pressley’s windshield wipers on her Saturn Vue. The damage did appear to be consistent with Mr. Coney intentionally pulling on them verses him just using them to hang on to. Mrs. Pressley did state that Mr. Coney was pulling on the wipes before she continued driving.
Mr. Coney was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct and Criminal Trespass FV, due to acting in a violent/tumultuous manner towards Mrs. Pressley, where she believed her vehicle was in danger of being destroyed/damaged, and for damaging the windshield wipers. The handcuffs were checked for proper fit and double locked. I searched Mr. Coney prior to turning him over to PSL Walper.
I then waited with Mrs. Pressley, as she was making arrangements for her godfather to come pick up her two children. Once her children were turned over, Mrs. Pressley was placed under arrest for Disorderly Conduct as well for her violent behavior and placing Mr. Coney in reasonable fear of his life. PSL Walper transported the both of them to Cobb ADC. Warrant number 25-W-9799.
Kennesaw PD also advised me they had video footage of Mr. Coney jumping on the hood of Mrs. Pressley’s vehicle yesterday. Mrs. Pressley was also stating that Mr. Coney is mentally unstable and uses cocaine. Due to the history of domestic violence and alleged drug use, a DFCS referral was completed.
