[NARRATIVE #1 on January 01, 2026]
On 01/01/2026 at approximately 1848 hours, I, Officer Angulo, responded to [1300 BLOCK] Raven Rock Trail in reference to a domestic dispute. Dispatch advised that the son had just beaten the complainant. Dispatch also advised that the complainant was in the garage, sitting inside her vehicle.
Upon arrival, I activated my department-issued body camera and made contact with the complainant, [VICTIM #1], who was seated in her vehicle. I observed [VICTIM #1]’s face to be swollen and bleeding. Her right eye was swollen shut and not visible due to the extent of the swelling. I opened the vehicle door, at which point [VICTIM #1] was screaming for officers to get her out of the area. [VICTIM #1] stated, “If he comes back, he’s going to kill me.” I asked [VICTIM #1] if the suspect was still inside the residence, and she stated she did not know.
I asked [VICTIM #1] who assaulted her, and she stated her son, Christopher Delaigle. [VICTIM #1] described Christopher as a white male with a shaved head, approximately 5’10” tall. I asked [VICTIM #1] what had occurred; however, she stated she could not remember. [VICTIM #1] repeatedly advised officers to get her out of the area before Christopher returned.
I inspected [VICTIM #1]’s injuries and observed multiple [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had blood covering her sweater and mud on her pants. [REDACTED BY AGENCY]
Backup units arrived on scene and remained with [VICTIM #1] while officers and I cleared the residence. Christopher was not located inside the residence. While inside the residence, I observed a drop of blood next to the couch, as well as bloody hand prints on the couch and on the door leading to the backyard.
I then made contact with a neighbor, [WITNESS #1], and asked if his backyard camera was operational. [WITNESS #1] stated the camera does not record; however, he advised he heard a woman crying outside earlier, prior to officers arriving.
I returned to [VICTIM #1], who advised Christopher might go to her parents’ residence located at [1700 BLOCK] Ridenour Parkway. [VICTIM #1] stated Christopher does not drive and walks everywhere. [VICTIM #1] further advised that Christopher had recently been released from jail. Backup officers responded to Ridenour Parkway with negative results and conducted an area search with negative results.
Metro Unit 225 arrived on scene and advised they believed [VICTIM #1] had [REDACTED BY AGENCY], a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] [VICTIM #1] was transported to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] for treatment.
I continued searching the area with negative results. At approximately 2004 hours, Christopher was located walking northbound on Cobb Parkway near McCollum Parkway. I made contact with Christopher and observed blood on his jeans and shoes. I asked Christopher what had occurred, and he did not provide a response.
Christopher was placed into handcuffs behind his back, double-locked, and checked for proper fit. I searched Christopher incident to arrest, yielding no weapons or contraband. Christopher was seat-belted in the rear passenger-side seat of my patrol vehicle in accordance with departmental policy. I transported Christopher to the Kennesaw Police Department.
I read Christopher his Miranda rights, and he agreed to speak with me. When asked what happened, Christopher stated he did not remember. He then asked if his mother was okay. I asked why she would not be okay, and Christopher stated he did not know. I asked how blood got on his pants and shoes, and he stated he did not know. Christopher then advised he has [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
I collected Christopher’s jeans and shoes as evidence and transferred custody of Christopher to Transport Officer Calzada.
I obtained a warrant from Cobb County Magistrate Judge John Strauss, warrant number 26-W-26.
Christopher was charged with the following:
- Three counts of Aggravated Battery (O. C. G. A. 16-5-24)
All paperwork was completed prior to the end of my shift. Christopher’s jeans and shoes were placed into evidence locker #003. Twenty-three photographs were sent to CID for evidence.

[NARRATIVE #2 on January 01, 2026]
On 01/01/2026 at approximately 2016 hours, I, Transport Officer Calzada, met with Officer Angulo at 2529 J.O Stephenson Ave. to facilitate the transport of Christopher J. Delaigle.
Upon arrival, I activated my department-issued body-worn camera and assumed custody of Mr. Delaigle and his personal property. He was handcuffed to the rear, and the restraints were checked for proper fit and double-locked for safety. A search of Mr. Delaigle for weapons and contraband was conducted with negative results.
Mr. Delaigle was then escorted to the transport van and secured in the left rear drivers’ area. The L3 camera system inside the van was operational and recording. The rear door was closed and locked. Due to the absence of seat belts in the rear of the transport van, I instructed Mr. Delaigle to hold onto the blue safety strap affixed to the interior wall for the duration of the transport.
I transported Mr. Delaigle without incident to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. Upon arrival, he was released to jail staff along with all required documentation. A search of the transport van’s passenger compartment was conducted both before and after the transport, and no contraband was located. The transport van’s camera system was activated prior to departure from 2529 J.O Stephenson Ave.
