On 11/7/2025 at approximately 0212 hours I was patrolling the area of 31 Cobb Pkwy S (QuikTrip) when I ran the license plate of a gray 2015 Mercedes S 63 AMG (Ga tag:[REDACTED]) on GCIC. The vehicle was parked at a gas pump but was not pumping gas. GCIC returns showed that the registered owner of the vehicle, Marion J Robinson III, had active warrants out of Glynn County Sheriff’s Office (Wno: CR217708133) for FTA-Larceny, and Cobb County Sheriff’s Office (Wno: 25SCB02231) for FTA-Disorderly Conduct.
I observed Robinson accompanied by two females, near the vehicle. Officer Hulett, Officer J. Johnson, and I left the parking lot to further observe the vehicle and the occupants.
After awhile I observed the vehicle driven by one of the females, pull away from the gas pump and into a parking spot. Robinson and the two females, were observed standing around the vehicle as Robinson cleaned the hood. Officer Hulett, Officer J. Johnson, and I traveled back to QuikTrip to make contact with Robinson and the females.
I approached Robinson and inquired as to who the vehicle belonged to, to which I got no reply. A black female, later identified as [REDACTED], got out of the driver seat of the vehicle and confronted officers. The other female, identified as [REDACTED], joined [REDACTED]. I asked again, who the vehicle belonged to to which [REDACTED] stated that the vehicle belonged to Robinson. I asked Robinson if he had any identification on him, to which he stated that he did not. I asked Robinson’s name and date of birth which he provided without issue.
I gave Robinson a verbal command to turn around and place his hands behind his back, which he did. I detained Robinson in handcuffs which were checked for tightness and double locked. I informed Robinson that he had an active warrant out of Cobb County Sheriff’s Office for FTA for Disorderly Conduct. I informed Robinson that he was being detained pending the confirmation of the warrant.
[REDACTED] and Robinson both stated that it must be a mistake on the Sheriff’s Office part as they both went to Robinson’s court date for that and stated that he should not have a warrant.
I ran Robinson’s driver’s license number through the radio and asked them to confirm the warrants. I called the Marietta PD Front Desk to get the status of the warrant confirmation, to which I was informed that the warrant out of Cobb County SO was confirmed, the warrant out of Glynn County SO was not confirmed due to 50 mile extradition radius.
After being detained in handcuffs, Robinson stated that he did not feel well and was light headed. Robinson did vomit after which he was sat down on the curb. [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] did give Robinson some fluids to rehydrate him. Robinson stated that he most likely did not feel well due to taking his medications (Hydrocodone for a knee surgery 2 months prior) and not eating that evening. I asked Robinson if he would like to be checked out by Metro EMS to which he stated that he would. I requested an ambulance through the radio.
Metro EMS personnel arrived on scene and took Robinson’s vitals. Metro EMS personnel informed me that Robinson had extremely high blood pressure (187/120mmHg) and tachycardia (elevated heart rate at rest – 127 bpm). Metro EMS stated that nothing else was wrong with Robinson. I informed Metro EMS as well as Robinson that I would be taking him to Kennestone Hospital prior to Cobb ADC to be medically cleared.
Robinson, being the registered owner of the vehicle gave permission for [REDACTED] to take possession of the vehicle.
I transported Robinson to Kennestone where he was treated and ultimately cleared for Cobb ADC.
I completed a booking form for Robinson – Wanted Person Located. Custody of Robinson was relinquished over to Transport Officer Gordon who transported him to Cobb ADC where he was booked in.
[End of Narrative]
