[NARRATIVE #1 on October 25, 2025]

On 10/25/2025 at 0230 hours, I, Officer Scott, 1400 Ernest Barrett Parkway, QuikTrip, in reference to robbery. Dispatch advised that a male stated that 5 males with assault rifles robbed him.

Upon my arrival, I made contact with [VICTIM #1] inside the QuikTrip. [VICTIM #1] was frantic and visibly shaken. He stated that he had met a girl on Snapchat approximately two weeks ago, and they had planned to meet today. [VICTIM #1] said that he took an Uber from his house to the address that the girl sent him. [VICTIM #1] said that the Uber took him near the entrance of [1400 BLOCK] Ridenour Boulevard at 0205 hours, at which point he got out and walked to meet the girl in her car. [VICTIM #1] described the girl’s vehicle as a white SUV.

[VICTIM #1] stated that he and the girl were talking in the car for about 10 minutes when 5-6 males wearing ski masks came to the car, opened all the doors, and pointed assault rifles at him and told him not to move. [VICTIM #1] stated that one of the males had smacked him on the right side of his head with a rifle. [VICTIM #1] advised that the males then told him that if he told anyone, they would kill him and shoot up his house.

[VICTIM #1] said that the individuals told him to give them his shoes, so he took off his black Skechers and handed them over. [VICTIM #1] said that the individuals then asked him what was in his grey Under Armour backpack, and he replied his basketball shoes. [VICTIM #1] stated that the individuals took his bookbag. [VICTIM #1] advised that he also had a black speaker in the bag. [VICTIM #1] said that the individuals took his phone, a black iPhone 15, and sent approximately $266 to themselves via CashApp.

I asked [VICTIM #1] what was going on with the girl during this incident. He stated that she was speaking calmly with the individuals, so he believes that she knows them.

[VICTIM #1] stated that the individuals told him to get out, so he ran to QuikTrip because he knew that it was open. At this point, [VICTIM #1] used an employee’s phone to call the police.

While speaking with [VICTIM #1], Dispatch received a crash notification from an iPhone at 0229 hours, pinging near the entrance of Ridenour Boulevard. Dispatch advised that the caller’s info of the phone returned to a [VICTIM #1]. While speaking with [VICTIM #1], officers located [VICTIM #1]’s phone on the sidewalk at Ridenour Boulevard & Cobb Parkway.

CID was notified and advised that they would respond shortly. [VICTIM #1] was placed in the rear compartment of a patrol vehicle until further questioning. Cobb County PD officers were able to identify a white 2008 Chevrolet Suburban on a Flock camera located at Cobb Parkway and Robert Boulevard at 0228 hours (Cobb County PD Supplemental Case #25071378). In the picture, an individual wearing a ski mask can be seen in the backseat of the vehicle.

Detective Moon arrived on scene and took over the investigation.

[NARRATIVE #2 on October 25, 2025]

On 10/25/2025, at 0604 hours, I, Officer Kroeger, relieved Officer Stephenson, at the leasing office of The Woodlands. An address associated with the white Chevrolet Suburban (Ga Tag #[REDACTED]) was found to be located at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Pine Club Drive NW. It was discovered that the white Suburban was parked in front of the address. I posited my patrol vehicle at the leasing office of The Woodlands to ensure the vehicle did not leave the area.

At approximately 1124 hours, I observed a white Chevrolet Suburban (Ga Tag #[REDACTED]) exiting the neighborhood. I followed the vehicle onto Cobb Parkway southbound. I activated my emergency lights and siren to conduct a traffic stop of the vehicle. Due to reports that the vehicle’s occupants were potentially armed and were suspected of taking part in an armed robbery. I conducted a felony stop of the vehicle in coordination with other officers on scene.

In accordance with department policy regarding felony traffic stops, I ordered the driver to exit the vehicle and walk backwards towards awaiting officers. Assisting officers on scene then took custody of Nikayla Kowalski. Nikayla advised assisting officers that her sister was still in the vehicle. I observed another individual was moving about inside the vehicle.

I instructed the remaining passenger to exit the vehicle. I advised the passenger to walk backwards toward awaiting officers. At this time, assisting officers took custody of [REDACTED] ([REDACTED BY AGENCY]14). Do to [REDACTED]’s age, she was not placed in handcuffs, and instead was requested to wait in the rear passenger compartment of my patrol vehicle. [REDACTED] informed officers she was ok.

Nikayla was transported to the Bobby Grant building, by Officer Lamb. [REDACTED] waited on scene in my patrol vehicle, until she could be picked up by her mother. At 1237 hours, [REDACTED]’s mother arrived on scene. I relinquished custody of both the white Suburban and [REDACTED] to [REDACTED].

[NARRATIVE #3 on October 25, 2025]

At approximately 1124 hours, on October 25th, 2025, I, Officer Lamb, was conducting surveillance in the area of [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Pine Club Drive, specifically stationed at 2851 Cobb Parkway. I was looking out for a white 2008 Chevrolet Suburban (GA TAG: [REDACTED]), which was the suspect vehicle in this case, and any occupants were suspected to be potentially armed and had committed an armed robbery.

I was notified by Officer Kroeger, who was stationed at the leasing office of 2880 Cobb Parkway; Woodlands of Kennesaw, that the suspect vehicle was exiting the subdivision onto Cobb Parkway Southbound towards my location. I observed Officer Kroeger behind the suspect vehicle, and I entered the roadway in the adjacent lane behind the vehicle. Officer Kroeger and I then initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle. Due to the nature of the charges suspected to be committed by the occupants and the high possibility that they would be armed, a felony stop was conducted.

During the stop, two females were safely detained, one being Nikayla Kowalski. I then utilized the department issued ballistic shield to clear the vehicle of any other potential threats. Detective B. Moon would respond and the investigation would be turned over to him.

Detective Moon would later request that I transport Kowalski to Bobby Grant for further interviews. I secured Kowalski in the passenger compartment and transported her to Bobby Grant.

Once detective Moon finished his investigation, I placed Kowalski under arrest. Kowalski was secured in handcuffs, behind her back, double locked and checked for proper fit. Kowalski was searched incident to arrest for contraband with negative results. Kowalski was placed into the passenger compartment of my patrol vehicle and seat belted for safety. Kowalski was transported to Cobb County Jail and turned over to detention staff without incident.

[NARRATIVE #4 on November 19, 2025]

On 11/19/2025 at approximately 2200 hours, I, Officer Bagwell, accessed the Instagram social media platform and visited the Instagram user profile “[REDACTED]”, a known profile page belonging to a wanted subject, Prince Nixon. Prince had an active warrant (WNO #25W9098) for his arrest through the Cobb County Sheriff’s Officer for Armed Robbery, Aggravated Assault, and Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.

I have been aware of Prince’s “[REDACTED]” Instagram profile for nearly 2 years and have frequently noticed consistent activity on his page. His activity has included things such as him adding pictures of himself, his friends, him rapping in home made music videos, and him adding content to his Instagram story and memories. When I accessed his profile on today’s date, I noticed he had just posted a screen shot of what appeared to be a video game. There was text on the story that read, “Come say wsp.” Under this was a link to “Twitch.tv.”

I clicked the link and it took me to a Twitch live stream page belonging to user “[REDACTED].” Based on my previous encounters and knowledge of Prince, I knew he had started his own clothing company called Paper Route Crew and the “PRC” in “[REDACTED]” username was likely an acronym for “Paper Route Crew.” The “[REDACTED]” Instagram page also had a link in the bio that read, “[REDACTED]”

While on the Twitch live stream page, I observed an active NBA2K26 video game being live streamed. I could hear a male voice frequently talking to other users on the game as the content was being streamed. Knowing Prince had been living at [80 BLOCK] Elm Court, Kennesaw, Georgia, 30152 for at least 2 to 3 years and had recently updated his Georgia Driver’s License on 7/25/2025 to still reflect [80 BLOCK] Elm Court as his home address, I proceeded to the location to see if there were any signs of him being present at the address. I left the live stream open to ensure there was still activity taking place.

Upon arrival to the area, I noticed there were several lights on in the residence. The neighborhood was almost completely dark due to limited street lights and it was nearly silent outside. I exited my patrol car and began to walk the area. I noticed there was a light on in the residence behind a set of blinds on the far right side of the trailer. Next to the window approximately 7 or 8 feet away was a sidewalk that ran parallel to Elm Court.

With the live streaming still playing, I stood on the sidewalk and listened closely to any noises coming from inside the residence. As I did, I heard a male talking from behind the window I was outside of. The male was using profanity and began increasingly talking louder as specific moments were happening in the basketball game. As this was occurring, the voice I was hearing from inside the residence was the same voice that was talking on the live stream.

On several notable occasions, something happened in the game that caused the male, believed to be Prince, to get excited. The male subject suspected to be Prince, began clapping loudly from inside the residence, which could be heard from the sidewalk and approximately 1 second later, the same tone and sequence of clapping came through on the live stream.

On another occasion, Prince loudly said from inside the residence, “That’s all ball. That’s all ball”, which again, came through on the live stream approximately 1 second after it was said from inside the residence. This continued to occur for nearly an hour where I could hear the male say or do things from inside the residence and would then hear it come through the audio on the live stream seconds later. I contacted the on duty sergeant as well as other members of the Criminal Interdiction Unit. It was determined the Cobb County Police Department’s VIPER unit would be contacted in order to request their assistance.

After a short period, VIPER responded (case #25077880) and met with Sergeant Bobo, myself, and other on duty units. While coordinating a plan, I accessed the Electronic Warrant Interface system where I applied for and was granted a search warrant (WNO #25-SW-001637) by Magistrate Judge Che Karega for the residence of [80 BLOCK] Elm Court, Kennesaw, GA, 30152. The search warrant was to locate Prince and evidence pertaining to the crimes in this incident.

VIPER and KPD personnel proceeded to the residence, established a perimeter, and conducted a call out. One of the CCPD VIPER units was able to contact Prince’s grandmother, [REDACTED], by phone. The CCPD VIPER unit instructed [REDACTED] to advise Prince on the nature of the incident, his warrant, and to request he exit the residence unarmed with his hands in the air. Within a few moments, Prince exited the front door as instructed and was ordered to walk backwards to our location. Prince was then detained in handcuffs that were checked for proper fit and double-locked. [REDACTED] came out of the residence after prince. VIPER cleared the residence and found no other persons inside.

I requested dispatch contact the ORI and confirm the warrant. After a few moments, dispatch returned and advised the warrant was confirmed. Prince was advised he was under arrest and was subsequently searched incident to arrest with negative results. Prince was placed on the passenger side rear seat of my patrol car and secured by seatbelt. Officer Angulo monitored Prince in my vehicle while other officers conducted a search of the residence. The search yielded Prince’s cell phone, a blue iphone 12 with a black case.

A copy of the search warrant was left with [REDACTED] as she is the owner of the residence. I then transported Prince to the Cobb County Adult Detention Center where custody of he and his possessions were turned over to jail staff without incident. Officer Huey and PTO Jenks took custody of the cell phone and submitted into locker #005 for evidence. I accessed the EWI system and completed the search warrant return.

All paperwork was submitted at the end of shift.

[NARRATIVE #5 on November 19, 2025]

I, Officer Hale, was informed of a warrant for Jonathon Wharton in reference to this case. I went to Wharton’s house at [1700 BLOCK] Oakbrook Ln to check if he was home. As I arrived Wharton was exiting a vehicle in the driveway.

I parked in front of the house and recognized Wharton from a picture given earlier in the day. I called his name and he turned to face me. I then approached him and informed him he had a warrant for his arrest. I instructed him to face away from me and place his hands behind his back to which he complied. I then secured him in handcuffs to detain him while awaiting confirmation of the warrant.

Once Ofc Bagwell was on scene I walked Wharton to the front of his patrol car. Wharton’s warrant was confirmed through GCIC/NCIC. I then searched him, finding no weapons or contraband, and confirmed his handcuffs were double locked. He was seat belted in the rear of Ofc Bagwell’s patrol vehicle. Ofc Bagwell transported Wharton to Cobb County ADC and turned him over to staff without incident.

Wharton’s phone was requested by Det Moon and I secured the phone. The phone was taken to Det Moon’s office where it was placed on his desk at his request.

My body camera was not immediately activated when I got out of my vehicle due to the worry Wharton may flee and then need for a quick apprehension. I activated it as soon as I realized it was off and it remained on for the remainder of the incident.
