On November 16, 2025 I responded to a car accident that occured on November 15, 2025 in the area of [1900 BLOCK] Station Club Dr in the Ivy Commons Apartments. I arrived on scene and began my investigation.
On scene I met with the complaintant, identified as [VICTIM #1]. [VICTIM #1] stated that she parked her vehicle in the parking lot around 2030 Hrs on November 16, 2025, and found the damage this morning.
A witness, identified as [WITNESS #1] stated that the vehicle was a silver Hyundai and that she saw the vehicle hit [VICTIM #1]’s vehicle. She stated that once the collision occured she saw a black female exit the vehicle and then some men come outside and remove the vehicle from the curb.
I then attempted to make contact with the other party at unit [REDACTED]. No one answered.
I then began to leave the complex when I was honked at and waved to stop by a male. The male was identified as [WITNESS #2]. [WITNESS #2] stated that he saw me knocking on his door by his camera. I asked him if he knew anything about the car wreck that happened last night, and he stated he did. [WITNESS #2] stated that the female driving the vehicle was Sophanie Pierre.
Around 1127 Hrs Sophanie called dispatch to report her car accident. I began to speak with her through translation with Language Line. Sophanie stated that she was driving the vehicle a silver Hyundai (GA Tag: [REDACTED]) when the accident happened. She stated that she backing up and went up on the curb, over the ditch median, and then struck the vehicle. She stated that she waited for the owner of the other vehicle however no one came outside. I asked her why dhe did not notify the police when it happened, and she stated she did not know.
I then placed Sophanie in handcuffs per county policy. Officer Christian and I then brought her to the front of my patrol vehicle for a search incident to arrest. I then transported Sophanie to Cobb County Adult Detention Center for a citation arrest of Hit and Run.
