I responded to the above-listed location about a domestic dispute.
On arrival, Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated her Ex-girlfriend Ms. Miller came to her door this morning and rang her doorbell, Violating the protective order she has in place TPO 2022D0137. As she opened the door, she saw it was Ms. Miller and quickly closed, the door. Ms. [VICTIM #1] stated when she closed the door, she went and looked out her balcony door and observed Ms. Miller leaving the apartment complex in a tan Chevrolet Malibu.
Dispatch was able to follow the vehicle leaving by using the traffic cameras and advised Deputy Corbin (115) of the location of the vehicle. Deputy Corbin observed the vehicle and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver Ms. Miller. Ms. Miller stated to Dep. Corbin that she was at Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s home and had just left there. She also told him that she was aware of the protective order in place.
I read the TPO that was in place. It stated that Ms. Miller was not supposed to come within 500 yards of Ms. [VICTIM #1]’s home and place of employment. It also states no verbal contact to include social media. I met with Judge Quesenberry and presented the facts of the case to him. He issued the warrant for Aggravated Stalking.
