17-year-old Sharpsburg teen accused of filming rape and posting video to Snapchat

SHARPSBURG – A Sharpsburg teenager is facing charges after authorities say she filmed the rape of a 15-year-old girl and posted the video to the social media app Snapchat.

17-year-old Aaliyah Elize Garrison, of the 100 block of Cannongate Circle, was arrested on June 25 on a felony charge of child sexual exploitation. Garrison was released the following day on an undisclosed bond amount.

Garrison was already facing felony charges stemming from a drug raid at her Sharpsburg home, where large amounts of marijuana and THC vapes were seized.

Also arrested were the suspects accused of committing the rape. Demauri Stevens Gumbs, 20, and Miguel Angel Holloway Boulai, 18 were each charged with one count of felony child sexual exploitation and one count of rape.

Sources say the teen was lured to a Newnan shopping center by Garrrison before being assaulted twice, once in a parked car and a second time in an office building.
