On 02/18/2026 at approximately 1946 hours, I, Ofc. Lyles was patrolling the area of Bullsboro Dr and Ashley Park Blvd when I observed a Maroon Acura make a U-turn directly in front of a truck, failing to yield, almost causing a crash. I activated my emergency lights and sirens and stopped the vehicle.
Upon contacting the driver, I identified myself and the reason for the stop. I asked the driver for her license, to which she provided. I made Eye contact with the front passenger and immediately recognized him as Darius Parrott. I asked Mr. Parrott if I could talk to him, to which he said, “Yeah,” and then exited the vehicle. I asked Mr. D. Parrott if he knew of anything illegal in the vehicle, to which he stated, “No”. A second unit arrived on scene.
I returned to the vehicle and asked the driver, Brandie Fennell, if she knew of anything illegal in the vehicle, to which she stated, “No.” I asked Ms. Fennell for consent to search the vehicle, and she stated I could. Ms. Fennell exited the vehicle at this time.
I began searching the vehicle, checking the passenger area and the center console, when I heard a noise from the rear. I observed a Black male slumped with his head down in the rear of the vehicle. I also observed a Cigarette package next to the male with multiple bags inside. I looked around the male for weapons, and once it was cleared, I retrieved the package. Inside, I located Multiple packages of methamphetamine, along with powdered Cocaine and a Large Crack Cocaine Rock.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] The individual in the rear of the vehicle was removed and identified as Quamorris Parrott. All occupants were placed in handcuffs behind the back at this time. The handcuffs were inspected for proper fit and double locked.
