On 03/06/2026, I, Deputy A. Webb, responded to the incident location in reference to an assault. While en-route, Coweta County E911 advised responding units that the caller, later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] indicated that a black male juvenile wearing a black hoodie and black pants had been riding an electric bicycle through his yard, subsequently destroying the grass.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] went on to state that he has had issues with this in the past so he informed the unknown male to stop riding his bike in their yard. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] informed Coweta County E911 that the unknown male then brandished a rifle, aimed it at him, and threatened to kill him.

Once in the area, I canvassed the area in an attempt to locate the subject in question as Coweta County E911 informed me upon my arrival that the male had left the incident location and was believed to be riding his bike within the neighborhood, where I was unable to locate him.

I made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who was standing in his driveway upon my arrival where I began questioning him in reference to the incident at hand. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] informed me that he believed the male to be approximately fifteen (15) years old black male wearing all black and has, on multiple occasions, road his electric bicycle through his yard.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] further stated that the male in question did so once again on today’s date where he observed him utilizing the ditch along the front of the driveway to jump his bike while riding. During this conversation, a male matching the description of the subject in question was observed riding a motorized bicycle through the neighborhood.

The male in question was observed to look at myself and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] standing in the driveway where he then turned through the yard of a residence and pulled behind the residence, later identified as [100 BLOCK] E Wedgewood Circle. I questioned [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to this observation where he immediately informed me that the male, we had both just observed, was the male who aimed the firearm at him and threatened to kill him.

At this time, I informed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to return to his residence where I then repositioned my patrol vehicle to the end of the driveway of [100 BLOCK] E Wedgewood Circle, exited, brandished my county issued handgun, and began conducting a sweep around the right-hand side of the residence when looking at it from the roadway. Once around the left-hand side of the residence, where I had last seen the male in question, I observed muddy tire tracks leading up to the basement door.

As I approached the door, I observed the same male, appearing to be a black teenager, wearing all black, standing within the closed door through the glass window on the door. I pointed my county issued handgun at him, gave him verbal commands to exit, where he then opened the door, and began verbally arguing with me.

At this time, I instructed him to turn around and to place his hands behind his back and informed him that he was being detained. During this time, the male, later identified as CHRISTIAN EPPS, attempted to pull away from me and attempting to reach into his front pocket and or waistband causing me to have to forcefully grab his arm and pull it behind his back as he was not complying with my lawful commands.

Once detained in handcuffs that were checked for proper fit, I conducted a Terry Frisk of his person with open hand techniques where no weapons were located. I then escorted CHRISTIAN to my patrol vehicle where his mother, later identified as [WITNESS #1], noticed from within the residence and stepped out into the driveway.

After placing CHRISTIAN in the backseat of my patrol vehicle, I returned to [WITNESS #1] where I informed her of the situation and questioned her in reference to if she was aware if he had gotten into an altercation with one of the neighbors to which she informed me that she was unaware.

I then questioned her in reference to if he owned and or had access to any firearms to which she informed me that he did not but that he did have airsoft guns. I questioned her in reference to the whereabouts of the airsoft guns were where she then escorted me to his bedroom, just within the doorway I detained CHRISTIAN.

While in the bedroom, I observed the mud-covered bicycle parked in the middle of the bedroom, a wooden baseball bat lying in the middle of the room on the floor, and no other items of evidentiary value in plain view. I questioned [WITNESS #1] in reference to if she would allow me to look through his room to attempt to locate the airsoft gun in question as CHRISTIAN was a seventeen (17) year old juvenile to which she informed me that she did not want me to look through his room.

I then questioned her in reference to if the firearm in question could be in his closet to which she then opened the closet door where I observed a box belonging to an AK-Draco style airsoft gun lying in the closet. She allowed me to pick the box up where it was immediately apparent that the box was empty where I then questioned her in reference to if she knew where this firearms ware bouts were. She further informed me to ask CHRISTIAN as he would probably know.

Myself and [WITNESS #1] returned outside where I read CHRISTIAN his Miranda Warning where he agreed to talk without an attorney preset. I questioned CHRISTIAN in reference to the incident at hand to which he stated that he and some of his friends were out riding their bicycles within the neighborhood where they were using the neighbor’s driveway/ditch as a ramp to jump their bikes.

He further stated that they had permission from this neighbor but never road their bikes into [REDACTED BY AGENCY] yard. He then stated that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] confronted him from his driveway about him riding his bike in their yard where they then went back and forth verbally before [REDACTED BY AGENCY] made a comment in reference to “being grown”.

CHRISTIAN stated that after [REDACTED BY AGENCY] made this comment, CHRISTIAN returned to his residence where he obtained a baseball bat and began walking back towards [REDACTED BY AGENCY] residence. He then stated that he stopped approximately one-hundred (100) feet from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] driveway and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] where they argued back and forth while he was still holding the bat. He further stated that no threats were made towards one another.

I later questioned him in reference to where his airsoft gun was to which he stated that it was behind the headboard of his bed lying against the wall. I returned to the residence with [WITNESS #1] where she guided me back down to his room where the rifle was located lying exactly where he said it would be.

I removed the all-metal black AK-Draco style airsoft gun from behind the bed where it was immediately apparent that it had absolutely no identifying markers to identify itself as an airsoft gun where I originally believed it to be an actual firearm as it weighed and looked identical to an actual Draco. The firearm was then cleared and placed into the front seat of my patrol vehicle.

I returned to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] residence to clarify what occurred where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] further explained the situation. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that after he verbally confronted CHRISTIAN for riding his bike through his yard CHRISTIAN stated, “fu*k you and your fat wife”, referring to [REDACTED] who was standing within the garage just behind [REDACTED BY AGENCY] at the time of the incident. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that at this time he made a comment in reference to being a grown man and that he didn’t need to talk to him like that.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that CHRISTIAN then made a comment in reference to how he had the “smoke” for him before he rode his bike back to his residence where soon after he emerged walking down the roadway holding a black assault rifle style rifle that was approximately shoulder width in length with a long black magazine. He stated that CHRISTIAN then stopped approximately one-hundred (100) feet from where we were standing in his driveway pointed the firearm at him and stated that he would kill him. At this time, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that he returned inside his residence where he contacted Coweta County E911.

I returned to my patrol vehicle where I now questioned CHRISTIAN in reference to the events at hand where he informed me, under Miranda, that he did actually grab the airsoft gun and return outside with it prior to continuing to argue with [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I questioned him in reference to if he aimed it and or threatened [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with it where he did not answer.

As this firearm ever so closely replicated an actual firearm; the fact that CHRISTIAN utilized it in an offensive manor when he aimed it at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and threatened to kill him; and that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was able to accurately describe the firearm to me with no assistance, CHRISTIAN was taken into custody for O.C.G.A. 16-5-21 – Aggravated Assault where he was then searched incident to arrest and his handcuffs were checked once again for proper fit then double locked.

During the search, loose United States currency was located in his pants pocket that he requested be turned over to [WITNESS #1]. The money was turned over to [WITNESS #1] and CHRISTIAN was transported to the Coweta County Jail with no issue.

CHRISTIAN was charged with the following:

  • O.C.G.A. 16-5-21 – Aggravated Assault

The AK-Draco style airsoft gun (SN: CYMA22010368) was placed into evidence at the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office after documenting photographs of it utilizing Axon Capture. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was provided with a case card and case information. A Victim Notification Form was completed.
