On November 15, 2025 at 0135hrs, I, Ofc A. McKenzie, responded to 19 W Court Square in reference to Ofc Tarbunas requesting another unit for a incident at Alamo Jacks.
When I arrived on scene, Ofc Tarbunas advised me of two males, Christopher Mitchell and Coleman Cagle, were out front of the Alamo attempting to provoke another male into engaging in a physical altercation. She advised me that Cagle and Mitchell were removing their clothing to further escalate the other male party to engage in a physical fight. I was informed that the incident began over Mitchell speaking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Ofc Tarbunas advised when she attempted to deescalate the incident, Mitchell and Cagle began arguing, refusing to follow lawful orders.
I attempted to get Cagle to leave the area, and he continued to argue with officers. It was obvious that Cagle and Mitchell were under the influence of alcohol. Cagle advised me that he did not mind going to jail. At this time, Cagle was arrested for Disorderly Conduct. Cagle was placed in handcuffs behind his back. The handcuffs were double locked and checked for proper fit. I searched his person and placed him in the rear of my patrol vehicle where he was secured with a seatbelt. I then placed Mitchell under arrest. The handcuffs were placed behind his back. The handcuffs were double locked and checked for proper fit. I searched his person and placed him in the rear of my patrol vehicle where he was secured with a seatbelt.
Both males were transported to the Coweta County Jail. Both males were searched again before entering the jail. BWC was not activated due to battery dying prior to arriving on scene. The rear transport area was clear of contraband before and after transport. I requested that Ofc Tarbunas complete a supplemental report for the incident due to her being the only witness on scene for the arrest.
Both males were charged with disorderly conduct and the charging document was a warrantless affidavit.
