On July 25, 2025, I was dispatched to the area of Corinth Rd and Millard Farmer Rd at the approximate time of 1830 in reference to a Hit and Run.
Upon arriving on scene, I made contact with a beige Toyota Camry bearing GA tag [REDACTED] blocking the intersection of Corinth Rd and Millard Farmer RD in the South bound lane. Upon making contact with the driver of the beige Toyota Camry identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY] she stated she was not injured but was struck by a blue passenger car occupied by a young black female driver and two juveniles at the intersection of Corinth Rd and Millard Farmer. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the blue vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign on Millard Farmer Rd striking the front passenger wheel well of the beige Toyota Camry with the front driver side bumper of the blue vehicle.
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] further stated the driver of the blue vehicle exited the car observing the damage of both vehicles to then re-enter the vehicle and flee the scene south bound on Corinth Rd. At this time a third-party witness identified as [WITNESS #1] stated she was behind the blue vehicle as it was travelling east on Millard Farmer Rd, running the stop sign to then exit the vehicle and leave the scene after exiting the vehicle to observe the damage.
While on scene with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Parkers Towing was started as a owners request for a private tow, due to the vehicle not being operational as it was pulled to the shoulder of the road out of the way of on coming vehicles.
At the approximate time of 1930 hours, 911 advised of a caller who was operating a blue passenger car wanting to make an accident report at the address of [100 BLOCK] Widgeons Dr in reference to an earlier accident. At that time, I left the original accident location relocating to [100 BLOCK] Widgeons driver where I made contact with a Coriana Fleming who advised she was the driver of the blue vehicle who left the scene. While at the location of [100 BLOCK] Widgeons Dr I observed a Blue Ford Focus bearing Ga tag [REDACTED] with front driver side bumper damage as was indicated in the initial 911 call. While speaking with Fleming she stated she ran the stop sign striking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to then exit the vehicle with her children [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] not observing any damage to the re-enter the blue focus and leave the scene.
While speaking with Fleming, I advised her she was under arrest for leaving the scene of an accident allowing her to contact a family friend to stay with the children on scene as there was nobody at the residence. Fleming was escorted to the rear passenger seat of my marked patrol car placing handcuffs to the rear double locking and checking for proper fitment out of sight of the two small children on scene. [REDACTED] arrived on scene, taking both children into her custody. During this time Flemings was transported to the hospital for medical clearance where she was medically cleared and transported to the jail with no further issues.
