On 8/6/2026, I, Ofc. McGraw, was dispatched to dispute at [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Ball St, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. Caller stated that someone was on her property and has been criminally trespassed from that property.
Upon arrival, I met with the offender, Cortez Jennings, at 244 E Broad St,. Jennings stated he was aware he was trespassed and admitted to being on the property, but that they invited him. Jennings also stated they beat him up all the time and that he sprayed the hair spray because [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was running at him with a knife. Jennings stated they have threatened him in the passed and I had talked to Jennings previously but at that time he declined to give any information about who threatened him, wear they lived, or and contact information.
Upon speaking to the residents of [SINGLE DIGIT BLOCK] Ball St, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he was sitting outside the house when Jennings walked up asking for a cigarettes and sat with him. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he told Jennings he needed to leave and knocked on the window for [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to come outside. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that was when Jennings sprayed him with hair spray. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] states [REDACTED BY AGENCY] starts yelling at him and that Jennings then threw the spray can and then his flashlight at [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
[REDACTED BY AGENCY] gave me Jennings flashlight and stated he already retrieved his spray can from inside the house. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] says Jennings comes knocking on the door all the time and that he was also her at 4am the same morning, 08/06/26. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then stated that when she came out Jennings was throwing things at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] nd calling her “Bit*hes”, and stating he keeps coming around trying to get with [REDACTED BY AGENCY].
Upon running Jennings’ name, it was found he had been trespassed from the property on 7/29/2026. Jennings was arrested for Trespassing on Private Property and handcuffed behind his back, which were double locked and checked for fit. Jennings was the secured in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle and transported to Coweta County Jail. Both Jennings and the rear seat of my patrol vehicle were searched before and after transport. Jennings was charged on a City Summons and his copy was left with his property at Coweta County Jail.
