On 08/07/25, at aprox 1822 hrs, I responded to Chick-Fil-A, 5 Glenda Trace, Sharpsburg (Thomas Crossroads), in reference to an assault call. I arrived a short time later.

I spoke with an employee/witness [WITNESS #1]. She advised she had been working in the drive thru window. She observed a subject in a silver truck stopped in the parking lot. The driver, a W/M, was leaning out the driver’s window, yelling at a teenaged male (later identified as the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] (16 YOA), who was walking through the parking lot towards the restaurant. The male was cursing loudly, using lots of “bad words”.

Mrs. [WITNESS #1] told him he had to leave due to his behavior. The male then began cursing at Mrs. [WITNESS #1], saying “Go fu*k yourself” and “You fu*king bit*h”. The male then drove away rapidly. Mrs. [WITNESS #1] stated the restaurant has surveillance cameras, but none that covered that part of the parking lot.

I spoke with the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. She stated he had driven into the parking lot, and admitted he was listening to loud music. He parked in the southwest corner of the lot (closest to the entrance/exit near Hwy 34) and exited his truck. He observed a silver pickup truck stopped near him. The driver was a W/M, 40-50 years old, long brown hair, glasses, wearing a gray or brown ball cap.

The male yelled and cursed at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then exited his truck and approached [REDACTED BY AGENCY] ignored him and continued walking towards the restaurant entrance. The male (now behind him) swung his fist and struck [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the upper right arm (bisep). [REDACTED BY AGENCY] continued walking away. The male then got back into his truck and drove away. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not have any obvious injuries. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was not sure why the male was upset with him.

I spoke with another witness [WITNESS #2], who was doing construction in the ditch in front of the restaurant. He stated he heard a “ruckus” in the parking lot, and saw a silver truck drive away rapidly. The driver, a W/M, was leaning out the window yelling/cursing. Mr. [WITNESS #2] was able to get a photo of the truck’s tag number [REDACTED], and provided it to restaurant staff. He also forwarded it to me, and I subsequently uploaded it to Evidence.com.

The vehicle is registered to a 2000 Nissan Frontier, to [REDACTED], [90 BLOCK] Winding Stream Trl, Hampton, GA 30228. Mr. [REDACTED] (OLN [REDACTED]) has a dob of [REDACTED BY AGENCY]1950, and is unlikely the offender, as described by the witnesses.

I spoke with two additional witnesses, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. They are friends of [REDACTED BY AGENCY], and were meeting him at the restaurant. Their stories were consistent with each other. They advised they was walking through the parking lot and observed an older silver truck, possibly a Toyota Tacoma, stopped. The driver (a W/M, was yelling at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. The male exited and approached [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who continued walking away. The male swung his fist, striking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] right upper arm. The male continued yelling profanity, got back into the truck, and drive away.

I spoke with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] via phone ([REDACTED], [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had already told her about the incident. I asked if he desired criminal prosecution, and she stated she did.

I provided [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with the incident report number, and asked him to forward it to his mother.
