On September 17, 2025 at approximatey 2128 hours I, D/S J Davis responded to 8817 Highway 54 in reference to a hit and run.

Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, she was traveling east on Highway 34 when she attempted to turn into the turning lane to 3150 Highway 34 (Kroger) parking lot. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated, while entering the turning lane the vehicle behind her (Black GMC Acadia GA-[REDACTED]) struck the side of her vehicle (White Toyota Prius TX-[REDACTED]) while passing her.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the driver (later identified as Jasmeet Raina) continued driving eastbound on Highway 34 into Fayette County. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was able to provide a tag and vehicle description which was given to Fayetteville units for a BOLO. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was given a case number for reference and advised to follow up with her insurance provider.

Upon clearing with an accident report, I was notified that an officer with the Fayetteville police department (OFC Collins) was out with the vehicle. OFC Collins was able to provide Raina’s information, and advised he would have charges out of Fayetteville PD for driving on a suspended license.

Upon running Raina’s information he came back with a suspended license for failure to appear. A warrant will be applied for.
