On November 7, 2025, I, D/S Weber, was dispatched to I-85S MM55 in reference to an accident with injuries.

Before my arrival, the caller stated that he had been in an accident, and the vehicle he had hit had left the scene, traveling south on the interstate. CSU found the vehicle with Tag#[REDACTED]. CSU tried to stop the vehicle, and a short pursuit ensued. CSU performed a PIT maneuver around MM49 on the above vehicle, and the driver, Jasmine Cooper, was taken into custody.

The driver of the second vehicle, [REDACTED BY AGENCY], stated that the vehicle in front of him nearly missed the above vehicle because it was parked in the second lane of travel with no lights on. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] said that he tried to avoid the vehicle and side swiped it on the driver’s side, disabling his rental car with Tag#[REDACTED] out of New Jersey. EMS came to the scene and cleared everyone medically.

D/S Munster transported Jasmine to Piedmont Newnan Hospital, where Jasmine kicked an BD Alaris pump ($1500) and two BD Alaris channel pumps ($900), breaking them. The hospital staff stated that the pumps would have to be looked at to find out the extent of damages and the exact value. They said to call the hospital at [REDACTED BY AGENCY] after 0700 hours.

Jasmine was medically cleared and transported to the Coweta County Jail, where she was turned over to the jail staff.

Jasmine is being charged with fleeing and attempting to elude, knowingly driving on a suspended registration, no proof of insurance, hit and run, stop or standing in a prohibited place, and criminal damage to property second degree.
