On December 9th, 2025, I, DS K. Daniel #097 was inside Quick Trip located at 1060 Bullsboro Dr. purchasing an item.

While inside the store, a lady walked by and stated “I will slap the fu*k out of you” and referred to her as “b*tch”, in a public, peaceful establishment, disturbing the peace. After hearing the statement, I grabbed the woman by her arm, and advised her that we would not be doing that in the store. I escorted her from the store to the front of my patrol vehicle where she was immediately placed in handcuffs to the rear double locked and checked for fit.

I asked DS Felt to stay with her while I proceeded back into the store. While inside the store, I spoke with the manager and asked her who the lady was speaking to and the manager advised she was speaking to her. The manager was identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the lady was mad at her because she caught her stealing a drink from the store and when she noticed she took the price of her gas and subtracted it from the item.

The item that was stolen was a pink in color Vitamin Water priced at $2.98. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] refunded the drink and the gas that the lady was supposedly attempting to get in the amount of $20.00 dollars. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if she would be willing to write a statement and she advised yes. While she was filling out the statement, I proceeded back to my vehicle. DS Felt advised that she read the lady Miranda Warning and she agreed to talk. The lady was identified as SHIVERS, JENNIA. Ms. Shivers advised on Miranda that she did say she would slap the fu*k out of the manager. I asked her about the drink she stole and she stated she did not steal a drink.

I proceeded back into QT and the manager burned two CDs for me. One CD shows Ms. Shivers concealing the drink from the county as she pays for another item and walks out of the store hiding the drink. The other CD shows the video and audio of Ms. Shivers saying her comment. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also advised she completed the statement from where she signed. I proceeded back outside and advised Ms. Shivers she was being placed under arrest for theft by shoplifting, disorderly conduct and terroristic threats.

Ms. Shivers was asked how her vehicle got her and she did not speak to me after asking her that. DS Felt advised Ms. Shivers told her she drove here. Due to that information, I wrote Ms. Shivers a citation for driving while license suspended as well and towed her vehicle through Caswell’s Wrecker service. After turning Ms. Shivers over to the jail both statement form and cd’s (evidence) was dropped in an evidence locker.
