On 8/16/2025 at approximately 1955 hours I, Officer Bingham and Officer Nix initiated a traffic stop on a white BMW 328 (GA tag [REDACTED]) at the intersection of Newnan Crossing Bypass and McIntosh Pkwy due to the vehicle having a tinted tag cover.

Upon making initial contact with the driver, [JUVENILE #1], I informed her of the reason for the stop and asked for her license. After confirming her license was valid through GCIC I made contact with [JUVENILE #1] again, who was visibly upset, crying and on the phone with her mom Jessica Jackson. While attempting to speak with [JUVENILE #1], Jessica began yelling at officers and shouting racial slurs through the phone as well as saying “keep your fu*king a*s there”.

Due to [JUVENILE #1] being 16 years old and trying to maintain respect for Jessica, we waited for her to arrive on scene. Shortly after, Jessica and [JUVENILE #1]s father Thomaso Watson arrived, and once exiting her vehicle Jessica began to shout at officers and using racial slurs calling Officer Nix a “fu*king cracker”. Thomaso also exited the vehicle and began to approach officers.

Cpl Cook gave verbal commands to Thomaso to back up and give officers space to which Thomaso ignored and continued to approach. Cpl Cook and Ofc. Nix then placed Thomaso in handcuffs to the rear checking for fit and double locking them. and advised him he was under arrest. for interfering. I then attempted to advise Jessica she was also under arrest and while placing her in handcuffs she turned toward me, blading her stance and assumed a fighting position. Officer Nix then came to assist and Jessica was then placed in handcuffs to the rear, checking for fit and double locking them. Once both Jessica and Thomaso were in handcuffs they were placed in the rear of the patrol car where it was checked before and after for contraband, transported to Coweta County Jail and turned over to jail staff.

[JUVENILE #1] was released on a citation (C028281) for display of license plates.
