On March 25, 2026, at approximately 2314 hours, I, Ofc. Burston was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Pinson Street, Newnan, GA, regarding an assault with injuries.

Upon my arrival, I entered the residence and observed the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] standing in the residence with a cut that was leaking blood from the left side of her face. Upon asking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what happened she informed me that she and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had gotten into a fight in front of the house. After fighting, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] entered the residence. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then informed me that [REDACTED BY AGENCY] came through the back door of the house, pulled out a knife, and sliced her face. Two people stated they had witnessed the incident: [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY]

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] declined to be checked out by EMS and, when asked for [REDACTED BY AGENCY]’s name, stated she only knew her first name, Kita, and was unsure of her last name. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] also informed me that she did not want to press charges.

Ofc. Beneke started and maintained a crime scene log until Detective DeBisschop arrived and took over the scene.

I was able to photograph the injury [REDACTED BY AGENCY] sustained.
