On July 9, 2025, I, DS Yarbrough, responded to the area of [100 BLOCK] Willington Way in response to a dispute between a postal worker and a resident. The caller [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who is the postal worker stated a male who resides at [100 BLOCK] Willington Way blocked in her vehicle and approached her aggressively yelling at her.

When I met with [REDACTED BY AGENCY], she stated she was delivering the mail when she passed [100 BLOCK] Willington Way. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the mail for [100 BLOCK] Willington Way has been placed on hold for a couple of days now because they continue to block the mailbox. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she verbally asked them to stop blocking the mailbox and they continued, to the point where [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had to put a warning in their mailbox and hold the mail for pickup only at the post office.

As [REDACTED] approached [100 BLOCK] Willington Way, she stated a male later identified as Louis Kotronis in a big white truck pulled up and blocked her to a point, where she was not able to leave. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the male exited the truck and approached her aggressively. He continued to yell at her stating “Give me my mail, I want my mail”. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised him calmly that his mail was located at the post office and there was a hold on it. Louis continued to raise his voice and berate [REDACTED BY AGENCY] continuing to demand his mail. Louis eventually gave [REDACTED BY AGENCY] the middle finger and called her a “Fu*king Bi*ch” and then drove off.

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised me in the 21 years she has been delivering mail she has never felt that scared to do her job or to come back the next day to continue doing her job, not knowing. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she feels very threatened and is unsure what her boss is going to do when she gets back to the warehouse. She stated her heart was still pounding because she still had to come back and deliver the same route tomorrow.

As this incident was unfolding, the residents of [100 BLOCK] Willington Way were outside their residence observing everything. [WITNESS #1] stated she was outside giving her boss some eggs when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] arrived with their mail. [WITNESS #1] stated she did not know what was happening but did state Louis verbally attacked her. Her husband [WITNESS #2] stated he initially heard the yelling of Louis down the street at Louis’s residence. [WITNESS #2] didn’t think anything of it until Louis arrived in front of [100 BLOCK] and began yelling at [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [WITNESS #2] stated he was observing in case anything got physical but it never did. [WITNESS #2] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] called her boss at the postal office, and [WITNESS #2] was able to speak to the boss and advise of what occurred. [WITNESS #2] stated during the altercation [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was very calm and respectful to Louis and not once yelled back at him.

I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if she wanted to press charges, and she advised she did. I went to the residence at [100 BLOCK] attempting to make contact with Louis but Louis had already left the residence and was heading to the post office. I was able to make contact with his brother [WITNESS #3] who stated he was with his brother in the truck when his brother made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in front of [100 BLOCK] Willington Way. [WITNESS #3] could only advise hearing his brother continually asking for his mail. [WITNESS #3] stated he had his window up and could hear his brother, but could not hear [REDACTED] when she responded to him.

Due to not being able to make contact with Louis, I will be obtaining warrants for Disorderly Conduct, and Simple Assault.
