COWETA COUNTY, Ga. – A Coweta County man was arrested last month after investigators say they discovered multiple videos of him engaging in sexual acts with a dog.
John Edward Couch, 56, was taken into custody by the Coweta County Sheriff’s Office on June 24 following a criminal investigation into bestiality allegations.
According to Sgt. Christopher Ricketson, a public information officer with the sheriff’s office, said the investigation began when a local resident came forward with a video allegedly showing Couch committing acts of bestiality. Detectives later obtained several videos during the course of the investigation that appeared to confirm the allegations.
Couch was booked into the Coweta County Jail and later released on a $2,950 bond, according to jail records.
This case is currently pending in court.
