On 09/03/2025, I was dispatched to 40 Fischer Crossing Dr, Costco in reference to threats.

When I arrived, I met with the caller, identified as [VICTIM #1]. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated as he was walking in the parking lot, he was almost hit by a vehicle. He stated that the driver rolled his window down and yelled “Fu*k you” to him. Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he responded back by saying “Fu*k you, learn to drive.” Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that the driver again yelled “Fu*k you” and then continued to find a parking spot. He then stated that the driver then met him in the front of the store as he was checking in, and told him in a violent and tumultuous manner, “I’ll meet you outside, I’ll fu*k you up.” Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated he told the man to “fu*k off” and then continued shopping.

Mr. [VICTIM #1] stated that he was then approached by two other customers in the store, who stated that they had a similar interaction with the man in the parking lot with him almost hitting them, and speeding. They stated that they had witnessed him approach Mr. [VICTIM #1], and tell him that he was going to “fu*k him up.” He then handed me a piece of paper with a woman named [WITNESS #1]’s phone number on it.

I then walked into the store and met with the offender, identified as Marcel Paul. Mr. Paul stated that he did have a verbal altercation with Mr. [VICTIM #1] due to him stepping out in front of his vehicle in the parking lot, but stated that he never threated him in anyway way. He stated that it as just a verbal altercation and that it never went beyond that. He stated that once they stopped talking, he continued on to the food court and it was over.

I then spoke to witnesses, identified as [WITNESS #2] and [WITNESS #1]. They both stated that they had seen Mr. Paul walk up to Mr. [VICTIM #1] in the food court, and tell him that he was going to “wait for you outside, and fu*k you up.” They stated that he was extremely aggressive the entire time.

I then spoke to Mr. [VICTIM #1] again, and he stated that he did not feel that his life was in danger, but did feel threatened by Mr. Paul. He stated that because he didn’t know if he had any weapons on him that he decided to call 911. He also stated that he wished to press charges against Mr. Paul.

I went back to Mr. Paul and advised him that he was under arrest, and placed him in handcuffs behind his back, checked for proper fit, and double locked for safety. I then searched him incident to arrest, and found nothing of note on his person. He was then placed in the rear seat of my patrol vehicle, and seat-belted in.

I provided Mr. [VICTIM #1] with a case card containing this report number, and advised him on how to obtain it.

I then transported Mr. Paul to the Coweta County Jail, and turned him over to jail staff without incident.
