On 07/29/2025 at approximately 2207 hours I Ofc. Lyles was waiting on a red light at Millard Farmer and Bullsboro Dr when i could hear a male yelling.
At this time I looked West and observed Michael Flowers yelling at a group of individuals that were ignoring him. I then observed Mr Flowers throw a full Whataburger cup at one of the individuals.
At this time I exited my vehicle and placed Mr. Flowers in handcuffs that were inspected for proper fit and double locked. Mr. Flowers was searched incident to arrest and placed into the rear of Ofc. Nix’s patrol vehicle where he was transported to Coweta County Jail.
Custody was given to jail staff and Ofc. Nix’s patrol vehicle was searched prior to and after transport.
