On January 23, 2026 at 1512hrs, I, D/S McKenzie, responded to the area of Highway 154 at Glenda Trace in reference to a hit and run.
I made contact with the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated while he was stopped at the intersection of Highway 154 at Glenda Trace, a tan Chevrolet Silverado GA tag#[REDACTED] rear ended his vehicle. The vehicle then fled traveling south on Highway 154, and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] lost visual of the vehicle near Ebenezer Church Rd. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] vehicle suffered severe damage to the rear bumper/trunk area.
D/S Scott spoke with the owner of the Silverado, [WITNESS #1]. [WITNESS #1] advised that his son, Nathan Bryant, is driving the vehicle. [WITNESS #1] stated that his son observed [REDACTED BY AGENCY] brandish a firearm, and he got scared then fled. Nathan also stated that he is suicidal, and he would not return or provide his location.
A consent search of the victim vehicle was conducted and no firearm was located.
After the accident, the Silverado was seen on Flock cameras going North on I-85 at exit 47.
I will be pursuing arrest warrants for Nathan Bryant for hit and run and following to closely.
