On Thursday, September 11, 2025, at approximately 1538 hours, I responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in reference to a dispute. The caller told the 911 dispatcher that there was a black male in her driveway trying to fight her husband. The caller said the male looked to be 18-20 years old and was wearing a grey shirt and black pants. The caller said that the male said he would “beat husband’s a*s” and “slap the sh*t out of her”.
As I was arriving on scene, the dispatcher told me that the black male was now walking in the middle of Morris Road and that he had told the called he was going to get his “people”. I saw the male, who was wearing a grey shirt and black pants, walking in the middle of Morris Road. He had no regard for his safety and was not utilizing the shoulder. There was no sidewalk provided and I came well within 1000 feet of him and he was still in the roadway.
I exited my patrol vehicle and spoke to the male. He began walking towards me quickly and I pulled my Taser out, pointing it at him, and telling him to get back and stand by my patrol vehicle. The male complied. I asked him what his name was and he told me it was Omarion Durrah. Omarion kept looking around and pacing as if he was looking for somewhere to run off to. I grabbed Omarion and handcuffed him with his hands behind his back, checked for proper fit, double locked, and searched him incident to arrest. I told him he was detained. I secured him in the rear of my patrol vehicle and drove across the street to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] where the complainant and victims were.
I spoke to [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. They both told me that Omarion often comes over and tries to incite them. They do not know who he is. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that she is not scared of Omarion but [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that he was placed in fear for his safety. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was able to show me a photograph of Omarion which was taken 8 minutes prior, showing Omarion looking at her and balling his fits up, holding them up as if he was going to fight.
She also had a picture of Omarion pointing his middle finger up in the air at her. Omarion was standing in the street, at the edge of the roadway and their driveway in these photos. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] if he would like to press charges and he told me that he would. I returned to Omarion and told him he was under arrest.
I went back to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and gave them a case card. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] told me that he no longer wanted to press charges but wanted Omarion trespassed from his home and never wanted him to come back. Omarion was transported and booked into the Coweta County Jail. While on the way to the jail, Omarion would cry one moment and then stop crying, act angry, and cuss at me. When the jail staff removed his handcuffs, he fought the jail staff which caused him to be placed in isolation.
[End of Narrative]
