On 08/06/2026 at approximately 1028 hours, I Ofc. Baggett, responded to [1300 BLOCK] Wooded Way Newnan Ga. 30263 (McIntosh Woods Apartments) in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival I spoke to several resident who said two sisters had driven to the apartments at the end of the block and had gotten into an argument with a male subject. The male subject had pulled a gun on the females and hit them over the head with it before firing several shots into the air. The male subject then fled into the woods behind McIntosh Woods Apts. Where he would later be found and placed under arrest. Residents also informed and officer that one of the female subjects was taking objects out of her sisters trunk and putting it into her own.
An officer asked for consent to search, and found inside the trunk was a jar containing a small amount of Marijuana. The female that claimed ownership of the Marijuana was also placed under arrest and transported to the Coweta County Jail. Detectives from CID took over the investigation and at 1230 hours, I left the scene without further incident.
