On 07/06/2025 at approximately 0300 hours I, Ofc. Nix, was dispatched to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Murray St for a discharging firearm call.
Upon arrival, I made contact with the victim, [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he was woken up by what sounded like someone shooting at his house. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then escorted me through the house and in the left bedroom window I observed two separate bullet holes in the window and debris from the ceiling on top of the bed. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then continued escorting me around his house and on the front porch he noticed that the string flood lights he had above his front door were ripped down and broken. No other damage of note was observed.
I then proceeded to walk in the general area of his property to look for bullet casing but was unable to find any. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] estimated the window to be approximately $150 and stated the lights were $40 on Amazon. He was then given a case card and advised on how to get a copy of the report.
