On 6/04/2026 I responded to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] Fairmount Drive Newnan, GA in reference to a non-family dispute call.

Prior to arrival, 911 advised the caller stated a black female named Rosella Beasley was at the location intoxicated, spitting on people, and physically attacked a person on scene named [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. On arrival I made contact with caller [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated Rosella Moreland (suspect) showed up at her residence intoxicated and began cussing at victim [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with no reason followed by swinging and hitting [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] then attempted to defend herself and the two physically tussled going to the ground when [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and witness [REDACTED BY AGENCY] intervened pulling Moreland off of [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] confirmed the statement given by [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and also stated she bit Moreland on her finger during the alteration to get Moreland off of her. The offender was not on scene at the time, and as responding officers were checking the area, Moreland returned to the incident location and was apparently under the influence of alcohol with a strong odor emitting from her person.

Moreland stated she was jumped by residents at the location and she was defending herself from [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I also spoke with a [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who was on scene who wished to remain anonymous, and confirmed Moreland was the aggressor and initiated a verbal altercation with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] followed by hitting her without provocation.

Moreland was placed under arrest, handcuffed to the rear, double locked, checked for fit, and placed into my patrol vehicle and seat-belted in. Moreland was checked for contraband prior to transport and was taken to the Coweta County Jail where she was checked again for contraband and turned over to Jail staff for processing. Moreland was cited for Disorderly Conduct (NPD 14-61) and copies of the summons was left with the Jail.

Moreland was treated on scene by EMS for complaint of a bite to her finger which did not have any signs of superficial injury (no broken skin or bleeding). [REDACTED BY AGENCY]
