On 04/16/26 at 1918 hrs I was dispatched to 1035 Lower Fayetteville Rd at CVS Pharmacy for a report of suspicious activity. 911 dispatch advised that the caller stated a male was in his car playing pornographic material through their car speakers very loud. The caller stated it was a gray Nissan Rogue.

I arrived on scene and made contact with Inv Johnson. He stated that when he arrived he observed the male in the gray Nissan Rogue sitting in the driver’s seat with his shorts down below his knees. He stated that he had a plastic ziplock bag around his erect pe*is and actively mastu*bating. He stated that he also had a pornographic video playing on his cell phone. He stated that the audio was very loud and could be heard before he approached the car. We were able to get his driver’s license and identify him as William Gordy.

I spoke a witness, [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated that she was in the parking lot trying to fix her car when the gray Rogue pulled into the parking lot. She stated that she then heard loud pornographic material coming from the car. She stated that this continued for approximately 30 minutes before she went inside [REDACTED BY AGENCY].

[REDACTED BY AGENCY] She stated that she could hear the audio from the car from the front door, approximately 100 feet away.

William stated that he did not know anyone could see him. William did not say anything else. I asked him to step out of the vehicle. I placed him in handcuffs behind his back. I escorted him to my patrol vehicle. I searched his person and the back seat of my vehicle before securing him in the back.

Due to his age and condition I moved the handcuffs to the front. I collected his wallet, phone, and car keys. I secured his vehicle and and checked with Carolyn to make sure it was good to stay in the parking lot over night. The vehicle was left on scene and I transported him to the Coweta County Jail. I searched his person and the back seat of my vehicle before taking him inside the booking area. He was turned over to detention officers for processing.
