On 01/31/2025 I (Ptl. Sibley) responded in emergency mode to the 1400 block of Cromartie Beach Dr. in reference to a Disorderly with a Weapon.

Upon arrival, I observed a black Mercedes parked across the east bound lane of travel. I observed 4 juveniles inside of the Mercedes attempting to flee the scene but were unable to due to the Mercedes having issues. I observed more juveniles in the area close by walking. Upon making contact with the juveniles inside of the Mercedes I discovered that two of the occupants were fighting. Ptl. Whitus asked the 4 juveniles to exit the vehicle to which resulted in us making contact with them individually. The driver (identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) and the right backseat passenger (identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) were the two individuals involved in the fight.

While on scene I observed multiple witnesses who remaining on scene which resulted in us (Ptl. Sibley, Ptl. Whitus, Ptl. Holt, and Cpl. Newberry) getting information from different individuals. I asked [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what happened which resulted in [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stating she was fighting, and she really didn’t know the girls name that she fought. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated the girl she fought name was [REDACTED] (later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]). [REDACTED BY AGENCY] did not advise why she fought at this time which led to me asking [REDACTED BY AGENCY] what happened. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated he arrived to the incident location (1400-blk Cromartie Beach Dr.) with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] driving to meet up with some friends at the boat dock. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] advised he fought a boy (identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]) for his respect.

While remaining on scene I made contact with the different witnesses on scene. I made contact with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] who stated she arrived to the incident location in the car with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she didn’t fight and that she just accompanied them in their efforts to fight two other individuals. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] fought [REDACTED BY AGENCY] first and then [REDACTED BY AGENCY] fought [REDACTED BY AGENCY] after. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] mother (later identified as Boonie Monroe) was on scene and she was there supporting the fights. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Boonie pulled a handgun out and pistol whipped [REDACTED BY AGENCY] with it. After receiving this information from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I returned back to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to ask if she was struck by a gun. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she didn’t know if somebody hit her with a gun or not.

While speaking with [REDACTED BY AGENCY] I observed a knot on the left side of [REDACTED BY AGENCY] face just above her left eyebrow. We (Ptl. Sibley, Ptl. Whitus, Ptl. Holt, and Cpl. Newberry) advised all the juveniles involved to get in contact with their parent or guardian and have them respond to the location in reference to this situation. While on scene some of the witnesses stated that they wouldn’t mind giving a statement but not every witness did one. After speaking with different witnesses on scene which resulted in all witnesses stating Boonie Had a gun and she struck [REDACTED BY AGENCY] in the head with it.

Video footage and pictures were gathered in reference to the incident that took place and they were submitted into property and evidence at the LEC (Law Enforcement Center).

Sgt Outlaw arrived on scene at this time which resulted in contact being made with an investigator. Investigator Price arrived on scene and made contact with the parents of the involved juveniles and advised them to meet her at the LEC (Law Enforcement Center). While on scene investigator Price called for EMS to respond and check out [REDACTED BY AGENCY] eye to which resulted in EMS clearing [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. I later transported [REDACTED BY AGENCY] to the LEC (Law Enforcement Center), he was searched for contaband which yielded negative results for contaband. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was placed in the rear of my patrol car (18-187) and he was transported to the LEC where he was turned over to investigator Price.

An NCIC/GCIC check was conducted on all parties involved which yielded negative results for being wanted.

This case was forwarded to investigations.
