I was working off duty security at 300 E. Broad Avenue (Big Daddy’s Lounge). I was working with Deputy James Collier from the Dougherty County Sheriff’s Office. While outside in the parking lot we were alerted to a disturbance inside of the club. We both walked to the door and after a few moments of watching the crowd, a female was brought outside. This female was wearing a green short sleeve shirt and long braids.

Dep. Collier was trying to place her in handcuffs behind her back. He moved this female toward the front of his patrol vehicle and only had control of her left arm. She was trying to pass her cell phone with the left and was not fully cooperating with him. There was a male subject I used my hand to guide him away from Dep. Collier and the female subject. I was able to help Dep. Collier secure the lady in handcuffs behind her back. The male was able to back away and was no longer trying to interfere.

A female, later identified as Domonique Bryant, then moved toward Dep. Collier and the female. I placed my hand on her shoulder and told her to move away. She in turn slapped my hand and yelled at me. I told her to not touch me. She then attempted to move toward Dep. Collier and his arrested female. I told her again to move back and I pushed her. A second time she struck me on my hand using her hands.

She continued to yell and I warned her to not touch me again. Domonique then moved toward my front side and pointed her finger at me and yelled at me, telling me to not touch her. I admonished her again and told her to not put her hand in my face. A male subject, later identified as [VICTIM #1], stepped between me and Domonique and was trying to get Domonique to lower her hand. He appeared to me, to be trying to calm Domonique down. [VICTIM #1] then focused his attention on Dep. Collier and the first female subject.

Domonique continued to yell at me and made statements toward me such as “Fu*k You!” and that I touched her first. I did tell her to back up, to stop yelling at me and I also told her get of here. I then chose to ignore her at the moment due to a large crowd in the parking lot and several people seemed to be escalating their tempers with each other.

I stood by the patrol vehicle while Dep. Collier walked away briefly from it. Domonique walked away and went toward others in the lot. Domonique went to a person, later identified as Dannielle Bryant. They are sisters. (I did not know it at the time, but Dep. Colliers female that he arrested at the start was also a sister to Domonique and Dannielle.) I stood near the patrol vehicle still. Dannielle walked past me. Domonique and [VICTIM #1] spoke with Dep. Collier. Domonique continued to voice her displeasure over me touching her.

As Domonique yelled some more, I warned her to leave the area. She refused and yelled some more. [VICTIM #1] and another male tried to calm her down. As Domonique continued to yell toward us, I told the males to get her out of the area and leave. Dannielle then walked over to Domonique and they began fighting with each other and they quickly fell to the ground near a white pickup truck. I went over and Domonique was on top of Dannielle. I was not able to see who threw the first punch.

I placed Domonique in handcuffs to the rear and moved her to my patrol vehicle, where they were double locked. At this point, after several chances for Domonique to leave, she refused and remained on scene and continued her disruptive behavior that kept Dep. Collier and I from focusing on the first part of the incident. She was secured in my patrol vehicle and I attempted to begin completing a citation for Interfering With City Officers Prohibited.

I moved to the door closest to where Domonique was at and was speaking with her about her personal information. Dannielle moved back and forth from Dep. Colliers vehicle toward mine and then she and Domonique yelled at each other for a moment. An unknown female and [VICTIM #1] tried to calm her down. They went to the back of my vehicle. Dannielle fell to the ground and [VICTIM #1] helped her up along with the other female.

Dannielle continued to yell and scream toward [VICTIM #1]. Dannielle then punched [VICTIM #1] in the face for no reason. [VICTIM #1] stood there in shock. I grabbed Dannielle and placed her under arrest. She too, was placed in double locked handcuffs and secured in my patrol vehicle. During that time, Dannielle and Domonique yelled at each other in my back seat.

Domonique had requested that the handcuffs be checked for her due to a previous injury to her shoulder. I did adjust them once for her. I then moved the handcuffs from her rear to the front as she had now calmed down significantly. I had to move Dannielle from my car, to another vehicle (Dep. Colliers) so that Domonique would not have the ability to harm Dannielle (one was cuffed in front and the other was not).

Both Domonique and Dannielle were highly intoxicated from their time inside the club. Dannielle seemed more impaired than Domonique.

I prepared two citations. Domonique was cited for Interfering With City Officers Prohibited (BB002169) and Dannielle was charged with Disorderly Conduct (BB002170). I transported Domonique to the Dougherty County Jail first. While at the jail, Dep. Collier, transported Dannielle for me to the jail also. My duty weapon was secured in my patrol vehicle prior to entering the jail.

My body worn and in car camera systems captured the contacts with Dannielle and Domonique. The backseat was searched as I completed the arrests and was departing the jail.

This case is cleared by arrest.
