On Monday 11/24/2025, myself and Ptl. Jackson responded in normal mode to the 600-BLK of W Lincoln Ave in reference to a disorderly with injury.

Upon arrival, contact was made with a black male who identified himself as Roderick Peters, who stated he got hit in the face with a gun. Peters stated he was outside watching the football on the TV drinking when he, his friend who was identified as [VICTIM #1], and his grandson who he knew as “ray ray” who was later identified as Donterrious Boone got into a verbal altercation.

Peters stated [VICTIM #1] and Boone began to push him out the yard. Peters stated as they were pushing him out the yard he fell and that’s when Boone hit him in the face and then pointed a black in color 9MM handgun. Peters stated he was spitting out blood. Peters stated he was trying to get up after falling so he could walk away, while doing that Peters scraped his right side of his hand. Peters stated [VICTIM #1] was saying to get out of his yard after he got up off the ground.

I observed blood coming from the side of Peters right hand, his left eye was red and a slightly swollen right jaw. Pictures were taken of Peters and logged into evidence locker #02 at 201 W Oglethorpe Blvd. EMS Med 4 arrived on scene and checked Peters mouth but stated they did not see anything and asked did he want to go with them in which Peters stated no because that would not help with anything.

Peters stated he did not want to report this incident anymore due to nothing’s going to be done. Peters then stated he would report if we could transport him to the Suburban trailer part in the county in which we stated we could not due to it being in the county. Peters stated he would report if we would transport him to get his clothes from where he was living ([600 BLOCK] Corn Ave).

Upon arrival at [600 BLOCK] Corn Ave to assist Peters to get his clothes. [VICTIM #1] and Boone were both outside on the front porch. [VICTIM #1] stated he did not want Peters on his property, Peters responded stating he was there to get his clothes due to Boone hitting him in the face with a pistol.

Boone stated he hit him in the face with his face and stated “do you want me to show you again?” and proceeded to punch Peters in the face. Peters then tried to hit Boone back but was unable to do so due to us separating both parties. Contact was made with [VICTIM #1], who stated Peters was drunk and he wanted him to leave the property due to the verbal altercation.

Boone and Peters were placed in double locked cuffs to the rear. Boone was placed in the rear Ptl. Jackson patrol vehicle but was transported by Ptl. Hatcher. Peters was placed in the rear of my patrol vehicle. Both subjects were transported to the Dougherty county jail.

A GCIC/NCIC check was conducted on all parties which was met with positive results. Boone had 2 active warrants for Simple Assault and Reckless conduct (25-015426 APD).
