On 04/24/2026 I Ptl. Conley responded in normal patrol mode to [2200 BLOCK] Ashford Dr in reference to a suspicious vehicle.
Upon arrival I observed a gold in color Chrysler Town and Country Van displaying Ga tag [REDACTED] parked halfway in the driveway. I then attempted to make contact with the subject in the vehicle. As I approached the vehicle the driver and passenger windows were down. I observed a male subject who was later identified as Gregory Pittmon Jr sleep in the driver seat of the vehicle. Pittmon’s phone rung multiple time but Pittmon did not respond.
I also observed a 12 pack of bud light sitting in the passenger seat of the vehicle at had been open and some of the cans were already taken out. I also observed an open bud light can in the cupholder. The can was empty and there were 6 beers missing from the 12 pack. I made contact with the caller [REDACTED] and he stated that his wife called him and advised that there was a vehicle parked in the driveway and was occupied for about 20 minutes.
Once Cpl. Hunt arrived on scene we attempted to wake Pittmon. I observed that vehicle still in drive with Pittman’s foot on the brake. The vehicle was put in park and the keys were taken out of the vehicle. We attempted to wake Pittmone but he was unresponsive. As Cpl. Hunt was about to give Pittmon Narcan due to us thinking Pittmon possibly overdosed, Pittmon slowly woke up.
Pittmon was then taken out of the vehicle and placed in handcuffs that were double locked and checked for tightness. When Pittmon was taken out of the vehicle he could barely stand and had to be supported all the way to my patrol car. Contact was made with [REDACTED] who is the girlfriend of Pittmon. [REDACTED] had been calling Pittmon’s phone while I was on scene and she advised that she was tracking his location was wondering why he had been sitting in one place for so long. [REDACTED] responded to the scene and took postion of the vehicle.
I then read Pittmon the implied consent to which he advised he would give a breath sample. I then read Pittmon the Miranda warning to which he advised he understood and wanted to talk to me. I asked Pittmon where was he coming from and he advised he was headed home from his cousin’s house at [4000 BLOCK] Gillionville Rd. I then asked Pittmon how much he had to drink and how much to wit he advised, a couple of beers and margaritas.
Pittmon was then taken to the jail. Once we arrived at the jail I secured my duty weapon in the trunk of my patrol car. As I was taking Pittmon out of the patrol car I observed that he had urinated in the back of the patrol car. Pittmon was then taken into the jail. Once in the jail Pittmon then was given the opportunity to give a breath sample. The 1st breath sample Pittmon blew 0.25 and on the 2nd sample Pittmon did not provide an adequate sample.
Pittmon was charged with D.U.I per se (G0064610), Impeding traffic (G0064608) Stopping/Standing/Parking (G0064609). Pittmon’s license was collected and a DS1205 was completed. A copy of the test results along with the empty beer can and pictures that were taken will be submitted into evidence and placed in locker number 25.
This case is cleared by arrest.
