I Ptl. T. Steele responded in normal mode to [80 BLOCK] Morningside Dr in reference to a Child Molestation.

Upon arrival, I made contact with a B/F juvenile (later identified as [REDACTED BY AGENCY]. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated last night around 11:00pm her mother’s boyfriend B/M (later identified as Horace Grier) came into her bedroom and asked her to come into the washroom. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated that Grier asked her if he could eat her pu*sy. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated she told Grier she didn’t go behind her mom like that and said no. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Grier never touched her, only asked to give her oral sex. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated nobody was awake to see or hear the conversation the two had. [REDACTED BY AGENCY] stated Grier left the residence at 12:00am with his friend.

I spoke with mom B/F (later identified as [REDACTED]). [REDACTED] stated she and her boyfriend had been up drinking last night, because it was Grier’s birthday. She stated she got drunk and went to bed, so she didn’t witness anything. While I was on scene, Grier called mom from messenger due to him not having a phone number.

I spoke with Grier on the phone and he stated he had in fact been drinking last night, but the allegations from [REDACTED BY AGENCY] were false. Grier stated this was not the first time [REDACTED BY AGENCY] had made accusations. Grier further stated [REDACTED BY AGENCY] was on probation for participating in sexual acts on the phone. Grier stated he has seen [REDACTED BY AGENCY] getting in and out of vehicles with older men and sneaking out at night. Grier again stated he didn’t say anything like that to [REDACTED BY AGENCY] and that the allegations are completely false. I explained to Grier the severity of the allegations and that a report will be done and that investigations would be notified. He stated he understood.

A CARES form was filled out and sent to DEFACS.

Sgt. Jackson was notified of this incident.

This case remains active.
