While working part time security at 2347 Dawson Rd. (Harvest Moon) I was advised by the security officer of an argument that was happening in the rear of the building. I drove my vehicle to the rear of the building and observed a truck with three females and two males in close proximity. My driver window was down as I approached, I heard a male and a female yelling at each other. I exited my vehicle and told all parties “If you all cant handle your alcohol as responsible adults, then you all should not drink”.

I advised all parties that this was not the proper place to resolve any personal issues. The parties calmed down for a moment and two females began to walk toward a Honda sedan. The third female advised one male to “come on lets go”, he stood there looking at me. I advised that leaving would be the best thing for this evening. He stated that he did not have to leave. I walked over to the male and advised that he needs to call it a day and try coming out again tomorrow. He advised that he knew his rights and did not have to leave the location.

A second male (Jerico Arnold) exited the truck and began to advise that he knew his rights and did not have to leave the parking lot. I could smell the odor of alcoholic beverage on both gentlemen persons. The first male and a female began to walk toward the driver side of the truck. The two females began to walk over to try and calm down Jerico. I told the both of them to head to their vehicles and leave the location. A crowd began to form in the rear of the location at this time because of how loud the parties were. The security officers walked to the rear of the location at this point.

A security officer advised Jerico that he needs to leave the location because he was not allowed to return back inside the bar. Jerico and the first male began to yell back at security advising that they did not have to leave the parking lot. I advised both males that since they were not allowed back inside of the building, they can’t stay in the parking lot. I was repeatedly told on several occasions that they did not have to leave the parking lot. The two females drivers got into the Honda and began to back up. During this time the driver struck a parked vehicle.

I made contact with the female driver of the Honda, I asked the security to announce inside of the bar that the vehicle that was struck. During this time the manager at the location came to the rear of the bar. He begin to explain to Jerico and the other male that they could not return to the bar. Jerico begin yelling at the manger and approaching him. The security officer stepped in between Jerico and the manager and both parties were yelling. I advised security to stand down and let me resolve the issue. The officer complied, I asked Jerico again to leave the location and he did not comply.

I notified dispatch and advised to them to have another unit respond to my location. I advised security to not say anything else to Jerico. During this time Jerico continued to argue and curse at the security officer. During this time several officers arrived to assist with the incident. I asked Ptl. A Hatcher to run the first gentlemen name to see if he was wanted, he was negative.

I asked Cpl. M. Hunt to place Jerico in handcuffs and advised that he would be placed under arrest for disorderly conduct. During the search incident to arrest of Jerico, Cpl. Hunt pulled out a torn baggy containing 7 1/2 orange pills from his right cargo pocket. Jerico was placed in the rear of Ptl. Hatcher’s vehicle. During this time a search on pill finder displayed that the items in Jerico possession were Amphetamine. The pills were orange in color displaying the number 30 on one side and b974 on the other side.

As Jerico sat in the rear of the vehicle he continued yelling and cursing. He begin kicking the rear driver door. He was removed from the vehicle and placed in leg restraints, Jerico was placed back in the vehicle and continued kicking the door. We removed him again and placed a second restraint on his legs attaching it to his waist. This action restrained him from kicking the door. Once he stopped kicking Ptl. Hatcher observed that the rear driver door was pushed outward from his kicks.

Jerico was transported to the Dougherty County jail. He was charged with Disorderly Conduct 16-11-39, Interference with Governmental Property (F) 16-7-24 A, Schedule II Controlled Substance Possession 16-13-20 A, and Drugs not in Original Container 16-13-75. Photos were taken of the damage that was caused by Jerico Arnold. The 7 1/2 pills were logged into Property Management for further testing. The driver of the second vehicle eventually came out and observed that no damage was caused to her vehicle.

This case was cleared by an arrest.
